Night sakura walk at Kawasaki Shukugawara・4K HDR

I recently visited Shukugawara station in Kawasaki city during sakura season after receiving requests from some viewers. The first thing I noticed was a small Doraemon figure near the station. From there, I began my walk along the Shukugawara Nikaryō Waterway, with sakura trees lining both sides. Although the sakura season was coming to an end, the trees were still blooming.
To enhance the view, I used pink light to light up the sakura trees. After walking along the waterway, I made my way to the nearby Tama river, where I strolled along the bank for a bit before returning to the waterway. Continuing my walk, I walked along the waterway until it led me back to the Tama river.
Finally, I walked along the empty bank of the Tama river until I reached Noborito station. Along the way, I stumbled upon another Doraemon figure, which was a surprise.

One morning during sakura season, I had some free time before work, so I decided to take a stroll around Ueno Park. The park is quite large and has a lot to offer, from museums and temples to beautiful gardens and ponds. I walked through the park, taking in the sights of the sakura trees in full bloom, and made my way to a local shrine to take a closer look. After that, I headed towards Shinobazu Pond, where I spent some time admiring the sakura trees around the pond. Overall, Ueno Park is a great place to visit if you're looking to relax and enjoy some nature in the heart of Tokyo.

Then, I went back through the market streets and made my way towards Sumida River. I walked along the river to the north, taking in the beautiful sakura trees on the bank. After crossing the river, I walked back along the river, passing through the closing food stalls. Finally, I walked towards the Skytree.

The first part using sound from Tascam Portacapture X6.
Applied sound effects:
Low Cut curve starting from -20dB at 30Hz to 0dB at 60Hz
Limiter -12dB, 0.71ms Attack, 737ms Release

The second part is my usual sound setup.
The 3rd part is normalized Tascam sound without Limiter.
The 4th part is original Tascam sound without Limiter

Tokyo from evening Shibuya to night Shinjuku・4K HDR

I walked from Hatsudai station on the Keio line to Sangubashi station on the Odakyu line. From there, I continued walking along the train line until I reached Shinjuku station's South exit. After crossing to the eastern side of the station, I walked around and eventually made my way to the western side. Along the way, I passed through the Omoide Yokocho street, which was full of mini restaurants and bars. Finally, I finished my walk near the western exit of Shinjuku station.

Blooming Tokyo - Tulips and Sakura of Showakinen Park・4K HDR

I visited Tokyo Showakinen Park and entered from its west entrance. I started my journey by walking around the Waterfowl Pond where I saw some swan boats. Then, I crossed a bridge over a dry channel to get to a field of nemophila and sakura. The park also had numerous fields of different tulip kinds blooming under sakura trees near another pond where I saw girls taking photos. Later, I found myself in a field of sakura trees, and then in a field of rape flowers. After that, I strolled towards the park's east exit and saw a beautiful fountain. I exited the park and witnessed the Tachikawa monorail passing above. Finally, I arrived at Tachikawa station to complete my trip.

Summer Time walk on Tomogashima・4K HDR

In my trip to Wakayama, my aim was to visit Tomogashima island. I wanted to see the island because it was featured in the anime Summer Time Rendering. I started my journey from Kada station. I walked through the town to the pier where I boarded a boat. The boat ride took about 30 minutes to reach the uninhabited island. Although there were not many buildings as shown in the anime, the island was still beautiful to explore.
Upon arriving on the island, I started my hike up to The Officer Dormitory Ruins and the 3rd Battery Ruins which were featured in the anime. After passing through the underground corridors of the ruins, I came out near the route to Mt. Takanosu Observatory. Then, I walked down to Jagaike Pond and climbed up to the Lighthouse. The Gate, another place from the anime, was also nearby.
After exploring the island, I returned to the pier and hiked to another observatory. There, I got the opportunity to fly my drone and capture stunning aerial views of the island.

Snowy Japan - Walk to Hirosaki castle・4K HDR

I walked through the beautiful snowy city of Hirosaki, starting from the JR station and making my way to the stunning Hirosaki castle. Along the way, I couldn't help but notice the charming snow men and snow figures that dotted the streets and sidewalks, each one more creative than the last.
As I approached the castle, I could see that it was fully prepared for the upcoming candle festival, with thousands of flickering candles casting a warm and inviting glow. The snow-covered grounds were transformed into a magical winter wonderland, with the castle's towering walls and turrets standing out against the night sky.
Despite the cold, I felt completely mesmerized by the beauty of Hirosaki in the winter. The snowy streets, the glowing castle, and the charming snow sculptures all added to the enchanting atmosphere of the city. As I made my way back to the station, I knew that this winter walk in Hirosaki would be a cherished memory for years to come.

Blooming Tokyo - Meguro Sakura experiment・4K HDR

I took an evening walk around the crowded Meguro sakura event near Naka-Meguro station, carrying an RGB light that I planned to use for sakura light up. The sakura trees lining the Meguro River were a stunning sight, illuminated by colorful lights that danced along the water. The white sakura blossoms were absolutely beautiful to see, and the RGB light added an extra layer of magic to the already enchanting atmosphere.
As I walked through the crowds, I couldn't help but marvel at the festive energy of the event. People were enjoying the beautiful scenery, taking photos, and sharing the experience with their friends and loved ones. Even without food stalls, the festival was still a vibrant and lively celebration of Japan's beloved cherry blossom season.
Overall, my evening walk at the Meguro sakura event was an unforgettable experience. The stunning sight of the illuminated sakura trees, combined with the colorful RGB light I carried, made for a magical atmosphere that I'll always remember.

Autumn in Japan - Hon-Hachinohe・4K HDR

During my journey around Tohoku, I had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in Hachinohe. The next morning, I set out on foot to explore the area.
Starting from Hon-Hachinohe Station, I stumbled upon a picturesque street leading uphill towards Hachinohe Castle Ruins Park. The park was filled with vibrant autumn leaves, and I took my time strolling around and admiring the scenery. While there, I also visited Miyagi Shrine, a tranquil and serene place of worship.
Afterwards, I made my way to the main district of Mikkamachi. This area was a hub of activity with a wide variety of shops and restaurants to explore. I spent some time wandering around and trying some of the local cuisine.
Continuing my walk, I also visited YS Arena and Nagane Park, both of which were bustling with activity and locals going about their day. To finish off my journey, I walked through a quiet residential area before finally making my way back to Hon-Hachinohe Station.

I took a walk from Hashimoto Station in Kanagawa Prefecture to Minami-Osawa Station in Tokyo Prefecture. Although I had no particular reason for the walk, I wanted to revisit the last stop on the Keiyo Sagamihara Line that I used to frequent years ago when I lived in Tama City.
During my walk, I passed by Tamasakai Station where I discovered early sakura trees and tested out my idea of personal sakura light-up. Afterwards, I visited several parks along the way, taking in the quiet, peaceful atmosphere.
As I continued on towards Minami-Osawa Station, I explored the residential area, which appeared to be one large park with beautiful walking alleys and bridges. Overall, it was a refreshing and nostalgic walk that reminded me of my time living in the area.

I recently visited Miyashiro Town for a cosplay photoshoot and decided to take a walk through the sakura festival before getting started. Despite the rain, I was determined to explore the blooming sakura alleys and enjoy the festivities.
Starting at the festival venue during a drum performance, I took the opportunity to test out my new recorder, the Tascam Portacapture X6, before the Narita Taiko festival. As I made my way through the festival food stalls, I avoided the long lines and instead walked along the river, passing a park with a pond filled with ducks, and through some fields.
Eventually, I made my way back to the river and stumbled upon the most beautiful sakura trees. The white blossoms were breathtaking and made for some incredible frames. As my walk came to an end, I returned to the festival venue, feeling grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful event.
Fortunately, no cats were found 😹

Blooming Japan - Stroll Amongst Cherry Blossoms at Nachi Falls・4K HDR

During my trip to Wakayama, I made sure to visit Nachikatsuura city specifically for its stunning Nachi Falls. Upon arriving at the city's bus stop, I immediately set off on my journey. I began by making the climb to the top of Kumano-Nachi Taisha shrine building, where I was met with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. After taking some time to admire the scenery, I continued on my journey, exploring the various old shrine buildings and taking in the beauty of the blooming sakura.
As I drew closer to Nachi Falls, my excitement began to grow. I made sure to get as close as possible to the falls, taking in the power and majesty of the rushing water. It was truly a sight to behold. And as if the falls weren't enough, the journey back down was just as stunning. I made my way down the Daimon-zaka slope, which was surrounded by an ancient forest filled with towering trees. It was a peaceful and serene experience that left me feeling truly awestruck.

I recently took a stroll through Tokyo at night, walking between the stations of Ebisu, Daikan'yama, and Shibuya. As the sun set, the neon lights and illuminated signs of Tokyo came alive, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The streets were filled with people, and the sounds of traffic and chatter added to the excitement. From stylish shops and trendy cafes in Daikan'yama to the famous Shibuya Crossing, it was a memorable journey that showcased the city's unique culture and architecture. Despite moments of peacefulness along the way, I apologize for broken mono sound due to my mistake. I was asked to take photos at the Horikiri Cosplay event in Tokyo, so I arrived early and filmed a walk-through of the event venue. Horikiri is a neighborhood in the Katsushika ward of Tokyo, known for its annual cosplay event that attracts cosplayers and fans from around the city. The event provides a platform for participants to showcase their costumes and creativity while enjoying the vibrant cosplay community in Tokyo.

During my journey around Tohoku, I made a stop in Sendai. After dropping off my luggage at the hotel, I had some free time to explore the city at night. Despite the snow I had encountered in Yamagata, I didn't find any in Sendai.

I then continued walking towards the west of the station and explored the vibrant market district in the area. In the end, I made my way back to the station, concluding my night-time walk.

I took a walking tour around Ginzan Onsen on a heavy snowfall day, and it was a breathtaking experience. The snow was falling softly on the wooden buildings and creating a serene atmosphere. I followed the riverbank and watched the water flow peacefully. Although it wasn't frozen, it was still a beautiful sight to behold.
As I walked, I saw people enjoying the snowy scenery, and some of them were taking a dip in the outdoor hot springs. The steam rising from the onsen added to the mystical atmosphere of the place. I continued walking around the area, taking in the peaceful surroundings and enjoying the moment.

Exploring National Treasures and Autumn Foliage in Hiraizumi, Iwate・4K HDR

During my autumn journey around Tohoku, I made a stop at Hiraizumi town in Iwate Prefecture. This town is known for its multiple National Treasure sites, and during my two-hour stop, I had the chance to visit the beautiful Motsu-ji temple. The temple features a stunning pond surrounded by maple trees, which were perfectly red on the day I visited.
To start my visit, I headed out from Hiraizumi station and walked to Kumanosansha shrine before making my way to Kanjizaiō-in pond and the neighboring Motsu-ji temple. After taking in the sights, I returned to the station and started walking towards the Takadachi-gikeidō pavilion. However, the walk took longer than I anticipated, so I ended up flying around instead.

Gloomy Saitama in Snow and Rain - Koshigaya-Laketown station・4K HDR

I had the chance to film a video on a rare snowy day in Tokyo. Although it was a rare day of snow in Tokyo, the warm temperature caused the snowflakes to melt before they could touch the ground. I decided to head to Koshigaya-Laketown in Saitama instead, as I knew it usually gets more snow than Tokyo. People had requested a video of this location, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity.
When I arrived, the area was blanketed in snow, but soon the snow turned into rain, turning my walk into a rainy one. The weather was quite gloomy that day, and I miscalculated the start time of my walk. After walking for a while, it was still quite dark, but not as dark as I had anticipated, so I waited a bit to adjust my filming.
Fortunately, all cats were hiding inside that day 😹

Rainy rambling in Fuji city・4K HDR

For several years, my viewers had been asking me to visit Fuji city, and I finally had the chance to go. However, I had bought my ticket too early, and the weather took a turn for the worse. While it was a shame that I couldn't see Mt. Fuji from Fuji city due to the rain, I wasn't going to let it stop me from exploring the area.
I started my journey at Shin-Fuji station, where my bullet train arrived, and walked through the rural area and along a nameless river to Fuji station, where normal trains stop. From there, I strolled through the market street and found myself at another river. After more walking, I finally arrived at Central Park. Later, I discovered another market area and walked through it to reach Hon-Yoshiwara station. Despite the rainy weather, it was still a beautiful walk and a great experience to explore a new place.

Festivals of Japan - Namahage Sedo festival 2023・4K HDR

Namahage is a traditional Japanese folklore about people dressed as demons looking for bad children around Lunar New Year. There are many origin stories about this custom, which you can read more about on Wikipedia. To commemorate this tradition, the city of Oga in Akita prefecture holds an annual Namahage Sedo festival.
After two years of the festival being cancelled and then reduced, I finally had the opportunity to attend this festival. I visited the event and watched as the history of Namahage was presented. I saw namahage danced around a huge bonfire, namahage dance accompanied by a powerful Japanese taiko drum performance and namahage procession carrying fire torches through the crowd. The last event was namahage walking around, searching for "bad children".
There was no way that there were any cats around, but there were many crying babies. 😹.

While conducting business near Sugamo street, I noticed an unusually high number of people. It was a typical Saturday, but perhaps the crowd was related to the Setsubun holiday that had occurred the previous day. Intrigued, I decided to take a walk through the bustling street, filled with vendors selling various goods and foods. I began my walk from Sugamo station and strolled through the colorful stalls until I reached Koshinzuka station. On my way back to Sugamo station, I opted to explore the back streets to fully experience the neighborhood's charm. At the end of my walk, I treated myself to a delicious beef-on-a-stick from one of the vendors.

During my journey around winter Tohoku, I stopped in Tendo city. As I arrived in the late evening, I had time for a night walk. The streets were empty and covered with snow, providing a peaceful ambiance for my walk. I began my stroll from the station, and made my way through the quiet streets, admiring the snow-covered scenery. I visited several shrines in the dark and even attempted to go to Tendo park, but unfortunately it was too dark to fully appreciate. Nonetheless, I was able to observe the city from the hill, which provided a breathtaking view. Afterward, I continued to walk around the city until I reached the other side of Tendo station, where I finished my night walk.

I had an incredible time experiencing the blooming plum hanami in Hanegi Park, located in Tokyo Setagaya.
I began my journey from Odakyu Kyodo station and took a stroll around the area before heading towards the local market street. After exploring the street, I made my way to Ohashi park and continued along the walking trail that took me to the Setagaya Hachimangu shrine and the famous Gotokuji temple with its many manekineko cat figures. Walking through the local Gotokuji market street, I purchased a cup of hot chocolate for my viewer Warren, and continued towards Hanegi park to witness the stunning beauty of the many plum trees in full bloom. It was truly a magical experience that I will always remember.

I had the pleasure of visiting Hirosaki Castle during its winter Candle Festival. Starting from my hand-made snow figure with the castle in the background, I took a delightful walk around the castle grounds. The surroundings were breathtaking, with snow towers and backlit classical Japanese neputa-e adding to the winter wonderland ambiance.
As I walked, I passed through an area illuminated with candles stands, adding to the enchanting atmosphere. Down by the moat, I discovered small snow huts with even more candles, creating a calming and serene environment.
Continuing my stroll, I came across other snow figures and neputa-e stands, each with its own unique charm. Finally, I reached the area with food stalls and a full-size snow building in a colorful light up. After getting Ayataka tea, I headed back to the entrance, satisfied and content with the magical experience.

During my autumn journey through Tohoku, I made a quick stop at the charming Kuji City for a brief walk. Although I had originally planned to reach the ocean, I was disappointed to find that the road was too noisy and offered no pleasant views. However, my short stroll through Kuji City more than made up for it. The streets were lined with lovely shops and quaint cafes, and the locals were friendly and welcoming. I took a train ride from Noheji to Misawa, two cities in Japan, during the beautiful autumn season. I was eager to explore Misawa city, a place many of you had asked to see in a video. My journey started at Noheji station, where I boarded the train and stood in the last car, facing the back window. The views from the window were breathtaking, with lush greenery and picturesque villages passing by. The autumn foliage added to the beauty of the journey, making it even more picturesque. As I approached Misawa, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for what was to come. The train ride was a peaceful and enjoyable experience, setting the tone for the rest of my journey. Japan Misawa evening walk・4K HDR

During my journey, I explored Misawa city, a place many of you have been curious about. As I walked through the city, I experienced the transition from daytime to nighttime. I started my walk from the train station and proceeded on foot. On my way, I passed a temple cemetery and arrived at a park surrounded by the peaceful beauty of nature. After enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the park, I continued my journey by walking along an abandoned railway, through quiet residential areas with a rural feel, and past local temples and shrines that were beautifully illuminated against the dark sky. Although I had a brief encounter with a scared cat that ran away, I eventually came across another timid feline at the end of my walk. The serene beauty of the city at night reminded me of small American towns.

Japan - Walking and flying by snowy Tendo - the city of shogi・4K HDR

On my New Year's journey to Tohoku, I had the opportunity to visit Yamagata and made a stop in Tendo. The decision to stay in Tendo was primarily due to the availability of affordable accommodation in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Tendo is actually renowned for its shogi game pieces production, which was evident from the numerous shogi marks and figures scattered throughout the city.
As I explored the city, I found myself walking around and taking in the sights and sounds of Tendo. One of the highlights of my visit was the Tendo Park, which provided a perfect vantage point for aerial views of the city. I used my drone to capture some stunning footage and gain a unique perspective of Tendo from above. Overall, my time in Tendo was memorable and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tohoku region.

Japan - Saitama Ashigakubo icicles light up・4K HDR

Yokoze town in Saitama prefecture is a stunning winter destination that boasts breathtaking icicles every January and February. The town is easily accessible from Ikebukuro station by Seibu express train, taking only an hour to reach this winter wonderland.
While these icicles are not entirely natural, they are a sight to behold, especially with the added beauty of the RGB lights that illuminate them. For a mere 500 yen, visitors can experience the stunning view of these artificial icicles, making it a cost-effective winter excursion.
The experience is further enhanced by the Seibu express train, which deliberately slows down when passing this location to allow passengers to take in the magical view through its vast windows. The icicles in Yokoze town are truly a unique and unforgettable sight, and I highly recommend making the trip to witness this stunning winter wonderland.

Japan - Snowy Aomori walk on New Year Eve evening・4K HDR

On New Year's Eve, I took a stroll through Aomori city once again. My journey began at the station, where I stumbled upon a delightful art installation, seemingly crafted by some creative kids. Afterward, I made my way to Utou Shrine, where the hustle and bustle of the New Year preparations were in full swing. Next, I ventured to Shotoku Park, which offered an amazing view of the port. I then proceeded to Aoimori Park, where I had spotted many crows on my last visit. To my delight, the park was still bustling with crows. Finally, before heading back to the station, I paid a visit to my neighboring shrines, Hirota and Ryu.

Night walk around Hiratsuka city shrines and the beach・4K HDR

I forgot about this video, but in July I visited Hiratsuka city of Kanagawa prefecture.
I walked from Hiratsuka station to Hiratsuka Hachimangu shrine, then to the ocean and back to the station. The beach was too dark, there are only wave sounds and far lights.
In the end there is a focusing issue
