When an Indian daughter realizes her mother has spent a lifetime putting everyone else’s needs before her own, she decides it’s finally time for an awkward conversation about sex, pleasure, and asking for what you want.
Flipping the traditional parent-child sex talk on its head, Giving Mom the Talk is an upbeat and heartfelt comedy about female pleasure, motherhood, family, and the conversations we rarely know how to have.
Rooted in the Indian diaspora experience while celebrating connection across cultures, the film finds humor and warmth in a wonderfully uncomfortable role reversal.
