Janes Addiction Part 1 Lost Mixtapes 2024-10-03 | To say that Jane's Addiction were an important band for me is a huge understatement. For a while they seemed like the only band that mattered. That really bridged what alternative rock was doing with punk and hard rock. Even heavy metal. They had an edge very few bands had. A magic. A chemistry. A provocative frontman the world hadn't seen since Mick Jagger. And three killer albums in Jane's Addiction, Nothing's Shocking, and Ritual de lo Habitual. Then they broke up. This period covers 1976 to 1987 and is pretty fascinating to listen to. Yes, he puts tons of already released content on here.
