Video showing a bug where the Lumix GH4 forces the iris of a lens to open fully for each and every still exposure, even if the focus is set to single frame focus, or even manual focus, in manual exposure – in which case, the camera should just leave the iris where it is set (say f4) and fire off frames as fast as it can. There is no need to constantly open and close the iris for every still image.
Because of the delay in opening and closing the iris for every single frame, the speed of continuous mode is slowed down considerably at higher f-stops. The degree of slowness varies depending on the lens. In this video, the Lumix 20mm 1.7 is used.
