Close call and save Boss Anceros 2025-03-31 | The whole day my rear tire felt squirrely and trying to slide out from underneath me, just like in this video. This happened 3-4 times that day, at around 45 degree lean angle to the left and barely any throttle the bike would try to high-side and buck me off. Every time I changed some setting it appeared like I fixed it but then it did it again, until the final lap of the final session where..... I didn't save it. Today called the shop that specializes in frame straightening and told them all the symptoms and before I could even finish the guy was like "Yep, that's exactly what happens when the frame is bent on the front end." So a bittersweet moment was that it took me 2 crashes to finally figure this out but on the bright side, it only took me 2 crashes to figure this out!
How to make an automatic spray paint can shaker Boss Anceros 2025-03-16 | Shaking the spray paint can is the most important thing to make sure that the paint and solvent mix well before they're sprayed, especially now during the colder days. They recommend shaking the can for 2 minutes before each coat is sprayed. Between several coats of primer, base paint, mid paint, and clear lacquer, there are close to 20 times the can has to be shaken for 2 minutes, more if more colors are used. Between arthritis, tendonitis, and like 3 other itis, plus being lazy, there's no way I can shake the can for 40+ minutes. And since Laziness is the mother of the invention and the driving force of civilizations in general, I made a shaker to make my life easier.

Crash in 4K Boss Anceros 2024-09-22 | Crazy sequence of events from LVMS track day caught on camera.My chain breaks coming into the turn and I pull off to the side of the track.As I'm waiting for the rescue to come get me I watch a group of bikes come through the corner.The brown bike loses the front end and low-sides and the blue bike is right behind. He's so close behind he has nowhere to go but over the brown bike. He actually manages to ride over the brown bike and land on 2 wheels but then loses balance, falls off the bike and slides backwards on his neck.Nasty looking slide but luckily nobody got seriously hurt.Also I'm so glad to see the sportsmanship here. The guy on the brown bike just glances at his own wrecked bike and immediately goes to check on the other rider.That is what I appreciate the most about this sport and the people in it.
Best lap time LVMS on The Pig now in 4K! Boss Anceros 2024-09-22 | First time on the 2011 R1 also known as "The Pig" for being the heaviest and slowest R1 ever made.To maker it even better, when putting the forks back together I mixed up the caps and had compression cap on rebound tube and vice versa, so when I realized that the forks were bottoming out I kept turning in the clicker for what I thought was compression but what I did was completely closed the rebound valve while still bottoming out and that's why I was all over the place in turns.On the brighter side, I thought I had forgotten how to ride 😂.Anyhows, here's my best lap of the day, 1:56.39
