I have a few more old videos to upload that I recorded with my old camera. I want to get them out of the way because I have NEW content I want to get to!
This one is when I got the shiny charm in Pokemon Sun. I almost stopped working on this video because I realized it was kind of pointless now but I kept going because I wanted a record of it on my account. I went to the trouble of getting the footage for it so I might as well finish the job.
After collecting all 300 Pokemon in the Alola Dex (it's 400 in UltraSun and UltraMoon) go to the Game Corner office in HeaHea City. Speak to the Director (Junichi Masuda) and he'll give you a stamp as well as the Shiny Charm which increases your chances of finding shiny Pokemon. The character outside the office talks about the odds of finding a shiny Pokemon with an actual number, a first for the series I think. It still blows my mind that they finally acknowledged them as "shiny Pokemon" starting back in Black & White I think? Until them it had been vague to what they were calling them; Shining, Shiny, Alternate Color, and so on, while Shiny was more of a community-accepted term from what I remember. But now they're officially Shiny Pokemon!
