A quick look inside the Hellisheiði Power Station which is located in Hengill, southwest Iceland which opened in 2006. It is the largest geothermal power station in the world.
The plant has a capacity of 303 million watts of electrical power and 400 million watts thermal.. There are a total of 7 turbogenerator sets.
