The first International Games & SDG Summit brought together global games industry executives, UN program leaders, and NGOs from 34 countries in Nairobi, the only UN Headquarters in the Global South. Over two days, conversations explored how games can support the Sustainable Development Goals, the economic opportunities in Africa's $2 billion games industry, and the partnerships already underway between the games sector and UN initiatives such as Playing for the Planet, Block by Block, and the Game Changers Coalition.
