HyperstrikeIn Peregrine Island, below the surface, there's a hidden asset referred to as the "Matrix Room. There used to be multiple ways of getting there, but the developers have closed these off as they were found. To my knowledge, this is the sole functional way to get there nowadays.
First off, do NOT fly until you're actually IN the Matrix room. The map defect that allows you out ALSO contains a zone cue to take you off to Talos Island. Also, if you're flying while under the map surface, if you intersect with a piece of geometry at any time, you'll pop back above the surface of the map.
Do this by running.
1: Go to the South-East corner of the map. 2: Follow the East wall of the map going North. 3: You'll come to the imperfection as a "corner" in the wall. 4: Back off just a hair and then jump up on top of it (not super-jump). 5: Maneuver around till it allows you behind the wall of the map. 6: Head due East 7: Fall off the side of the map (will reduce you to 1 HP). 8: Open your mini-map and select the Arena. 9: Head towards the Arena 10: As you approach the Arena, you'll see two cubes, a big blue one, and a smaller black one below it. Get beneath both of them (as you look up it'll look like a black square inside a blue one). 11: In the chat interface, type /stuck. This will move you to the nearest door. Which just so happens to be the Matrix Room.
NOTE! - Abusing geometry holes like this is considered am exploit and can result in account suspension or termination. So be careful!

If you're looking to ride everything there, this is NOT the time to go. I personally never got to stay there. But my family has been coming up to The Wisconsin Dells since the 60's. And we stayed across the street at The Blackhawk Motel. I was only a few weeks old when my parents brought me up there. As a kid, seeing Indian Trail was like seeing a "You have arrived!" sign.

This is a drive-through of the Wisconsin Dells circa Labor Day 2018. It's just an attempt to help bolster historical recordings of the area for future history buffs and people interested in the region and how it changes over time.
They are the self-proclaimed "Waterpark Capital of The World".
My family's been going up to the Wisconsin Dells since WELL before I was born (60+ years). My first trip up, I was a hoary THREE WEEKS OLD.
Lots and LOTS AND *LOTS* of things have changed in that time.
Unfortunately, due to the time-frame involved, there isn't a lot of available media on the Wisconsin Dells in a historical and documentary context. So many things are piecemeal, copies of old film reels, random pictures of things long gone.
It makes it quite difficult for Dells history buffs to scratch their itch (as it were).
But video and picture recording are now easy and ubiquitous.
So I'm adding my own little bit to the pile of Dells history. This is a (badly) processed video with some snarky call-outs, etc. After I get this one up, I'll try to upload a clean copy of the video without the call-outs.
This video is a combination of two parts.
The "main drag" (where all the parks and most of the bigger attractions are). This is Route 12 (and technically, most of it is the Lower Dells and Lake Delton).
And the Downtown drag, containing Downtown Wisconsin Dells (aka Kilbourn City). This is Route 13/23.

Now, to be fair, there ARE things I like about the various DC offerings to-date. And they're not completely worthless films. But there are real problems with them, and DC needs to get on top of the issue, as "more of same" is simply going to demolish their brand name.
Look at the DC Animated Universe. Proof that it IS possible to do DC well.
We just need someone in charge of making the films to care about the material they're creating as much as the fans and the actors do.IceBucketChallengeHyperstrike2014-09-01 | I was challenged by Texas Justice. Now, if you're asking "Who the #^(& is Ascendant?"
Picture someone who's essentially Superman. With the luck of Peter Parker... The rest just kinda flows naturally from there.
This video is made with a portion of a podcast called City of Stories, that ran until 2006. We were able to earn the "The Really Hard Way" Accolade without appreciable effort.
At the time, we did note that temp powers were enabled, and we were using Ultimate inspirations that provide a level shift and team inspirations that effectively capped everyone's stats at maximum and last for five minutes.
This time, we ran it WITHOUT these crutches.
We actually ran twice. The first time we just barely failed (we succeeded on the trial, but we had to drop back to using Quills to finish). Basically we just popped our Lore pets too soon. They expired right before we'd beaten Tyrant down enough.
On April 20th, 2012, Matt "Positron" Miller of Paragon Studios posted a poll about the inclusion of a new Accolade badge "The Really Hard Way" for the upcoming Magisterium Trial.
He referred to it as "quite possibly the hardest thing we have put into the game to date" and inferred that it was probably impossible without further level shifts and/or Incarnate abilities unlocked.
Now, City of Heroes players are ornery, obstinate overachievers. These are the people you toss into a black hole, then watch them float UP out of it. They have, with distressing regularity, found ways to achieve what the developers of their game classified as "impossible". More, they've done it with so much panache, they made it look easy.
Needless to say, a group of such people took umbrage to being told "You couldn't do this."
Well, we got together on the Beta Test server and DID.
Poor Tyrant... He got a mud puddle stomped into his backside.
Note: This is NOT a "HOWTO". This is a run on a Beta Test. Both the trial, and the badge are subject to changes before (and after) going live.Floating and Rotating objects in the CoH Base EditorHyperstrike2012-04-14 | City of Heroes has a base editor, allowing supergroups to build themselves intricate bases. However, before now, placement of items has been almost solely two dimensional. Getting items -floated- into the proper location on a 3D axis was the purview of exploiting bugs in the editor. With recent additions to the base editor, it's now possible not only to lift items at will, but to rotate them to achieve spiral effects that were previously impossible. This is a quick walk-through on the basics.Phenomenal Cosmic Power!Hyperstrike2012-04-01 | The first Signature Story Arc in City of Heroes has come to an end.
