I've long touted that the Battle Of Hastings is the best event in BMX. The level of riding is an obvious factor, but in reality it's so much more. The variety of riders and riding styles (and events) makes it not a street or a park event, but just pure BMX. The endless practice time makes for zero stress. The free beer makes things loose. The vibe from the crowd. Etc etc... If you've never been to a BOH, I suggest you make it out to one.
As always, shout out to the Source for putting the event on for the last eight years. And thanks to ODI Grips for supporting our event coverage, too.
A true original, Santiago “Santi” Laverde is in the Unclicked studio! Santi’s riding is hard to define, His ability to go from street to ramp riding while oozing style is something to strive for. Don’t let me keep you, Hit play and Enjoy Santi’s story.

Always a fan of Simple Session and it's all-styles-welcome approach to events. This year's event is no different with a heavy lineup and an amazing course. Unfortunately things took a turn in Qualifying when Alex Hiam had a heavy fall...as stated in the video, we haven't heard much on Alex's condition, but that he's okay overall. Really hoping he's okay and heals up soon. Grant Castelluzzo is out there filming for us and didn't put the video together in the typical format (that's okay!), so he's the top fifteen placings.
15th - Jan Bisanz 14th- Joe Jarvis 13th - Felipe Manerim 12th - George Ntavoutian 11th - Alvaro Esquivel 10th - Stuart Chisholm 9th - Ezequiel Helmreich 8th - Aryei Levenson 7th - Alex Donnachie 6th - Sam Jones 5th - Alexandre Sideris 4th - Jordan Godwin 3rd - Joji MIzogaki 2nd - Matt Ray 1st - Garrett Reynolds

Bethany Hedrick has been on the grind pushing herself for her first video part! Bethany and Jeff Z have been putting in work on this new GT BMX piece for about a year. "Working with Bethany Hedrick on her first official video part has been an absolute pleasure. Witnessing her rapid progression first-hand has been nothing short of amazing. But the friendship we’ve built along the way is by far the greatest takeaway for me. As if it isn’t already totally obvious, Bethany’s BMX future is bright. It’s time to shine! —Jeff Zielinski / GT"
