As much as I'd like to keep this on the shelf longer, I really want to give the community another solid video, and not just a side-project. Don't worry about whether or not I'll make more Shinkai videos. At the end I knew it needed more refinement and had more potential but I wasn’t patient enough to work it to the end. I enjoyed the moments it had and saw it as an improvement for my editing and just wanted it done. I am satisfied with it and am proud of it as a stepping stone.
Evangelion AMV || genesis:LOCK - gen:LOCK Trailer TwigglyFiggly 2019-04-03 | This AMV came out well in my opinion, and making it forced me to learn some new editing techniques with the software I use. Editing started as soon as I associated Eva with gen:LOCK and watched the trailer. It offered an excuse to finally watch the Rebuild of Eva movies, but I only saw the first two. I'm not a fan of the original show, and I couldn't sit through what's often considered a bad third movie. The only thing I really like about Eva is all the cool looking stuff anyway.
Space Patrol Luluco AMV || Bullet From Uranus - Intergalactic TwigglyFiggly 2019-03-16 | This AMV was pumped out in a second. It helps that Space Patrol Luluco is only a little more than an hour of anime. I've been listening to a lot of Beastie Boys, and I couldn't help to make an AMV with one of their songs. I struggled to come up with a name, but I settled on "Bullet From Uranus". It's because when Luluco turns into a gun, the barrel sticks out from a questionable region. There's also a part where Ad-Rock says "Comin' from Uranus", so that helps too.
Gurren Lagann AMV || Shout Out to Yoko Littner - Bring the Noise TwigglyFiggly 2019-03-16 | First AMV I felt somewhat happy with. It took many months to make due to having to restart multiple times for a variety of reasons. It's title is "Shout Out to Yoko Littner". The song is "Bring the Noise" by Public Enemy.
