The Oldskool Video GamerRed Earth or Warzard in Japan (ウォーザード Wōzādo) is a interesting fantasy themed fighting game from Capcom where you essentially fight and kill monsters in one on one combat. Red Earth is one of few Capcom fighting games with fatalities for all the main characters except Mai Ling (so in this video she finishes with specials instead for inclusion). They include splitting the opponent in half both horizontally or vertically, decapitation, organ removal and limb slicing.
Another notable feature is that your character levels up and gains new abilities, moves, and bonuses as you progress through the campaign mode. Leo can also acquire new weapons which he can switch between during combat.
Originally this was an Arcade only release and is being played here though MAME Emulation

It is set in a war-torn fantasy world and features characters both human and non-human alike.
Interesting little game, played it a fair bit back in the day.
I thought it was about time to return to it and show off the game's quirky fatality combo system. While I was there I also decided to make some fan art of two of the protagonists which I have featured in this video (beginning and end). Juni is basically a cross between Tinkerbell and a ninja, whereas Nephra is an ancient Egyptian-themed warrior/mage. They work as a modern take on the characters and how I would have evolved them for an imagined modern sequel.THE LEWDEST FATALITY EVER? ARENA An Age of Barbarians StoryThe Oldskool Video Gamer2022-07-24 | A hidden surprise I stumbled upon during a playthrough with She Red, I may have lost the fight but I won a hell of a fun bonus! Not only did I die, but the creature hit with so much force that a goblin in the dungeon below is crushed by the aftershock as rocks fall on him while he is ...ahem, pleasuring himself. I mean, you couldn't make this up!
A heartfelt thanks to Criansoft for making such an ace game. The Black Heart Fatalities/Brutalities 60fpsThe Oldskool Video Gamer2021-02-18 | 'The Black Heart is an 1vs1 fighting game in the tradition of Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, where 6 creatures face each other in cruel battles with gothic aesthetic.'
Fun little fighting game with some nasty finishers and a very unique fighting style. Worth checking out if you like 2D fighters and are looking for something unusual.

Survival Arts-!.....Not the greatest fighting game in the world by any means. However, it is quite amusingly b-movie grade and has finishing blows/fatalities/death moves whatever you want to call them -it all fundamentally equals the same thing. All in all I had quite a bit of fun playing it, and putting this together.
I am aware there are already videos of this games fatalities out there in the wild and they are good, but I really wanted to do one with HLSL settings to bring it up to the quality of the arcade and show an idea of what i rally looked like - the bezel (arcade border) is not the actual one used in the arcade but I felt it was a good fit for the the game with a bit of tweaking.
A shout out and a humble thank you to John Merrit as who created custom bezel (I merely edited the glass panel alpha channel and added the Logo). His work is the real genius here and you should check his bezel work out, I am sorting my links out as we speak and as soon as I have something available I will share here.ARENA An Age of Barbarian Story + DLC All Fatalities 60fpsThe Oldskool Video Gamer2018-04-13 | Crian Soft's second Age of Barbarian game in all its gory glory. Matches often revolved around trying to land or avoid this move with carefully placed dodges and strikes.
As far as my knowledge goes it was the first gory move of it's kind in a one on one fighting game, it proceeded Midway's original Mortal Kombat by 5 years.
