A big one actuallyAnd it is that the magazine that published this manga only translated this manga in Japanese ! And sonic’s fandom is worldwide. It’s not a private fandom, oit’s not niche, it’s international. Every sonictuber talked about this andddd yeah.Everyone started passing copies of the manga edited at Shogakukan translated in English because very few sonic fans can speak both japanese and english. Except that the author of this manga didn’t like this at all ! He proceeded to tell the magazine that everyone pirated his manga, and the magazine published a statement about potentially discontinuing the manga if this continues.Now, I’m no genius, but I feel like the bare minimum that could be done would be to offer an english translation on the same place where they sell the japanese version.So, in order to express my disdain with this whole situation, I just took the bike branch meme and adapted it with Shadow on it. I was already used to drawing Sonic cuz I did some studies on him, but I absolutely did not expect the post to completely outdo the original post, and have this much of a reach.
