The stray named buster noticed the puppy’s similarities to an old friend of his, and when his suspicions are confirmed the next day when scamp’s father tramp goes to the streets to find his son, he decides to manipulate scamp into hating tramp. His reason for doing so was that a long time ago buster and tramp used to be trouble making partners. But one time when they were being chased by a dog trapper, tramp left buster on his own to get captured. After buster managed to escape, he spotted tramp with another dog, buster tracked them down to talk to tramp, and after an argument, buster left tramp for what seemed like forever.
