In fact the previous cover I did I uploaded right before I had to go on travel, and then this new one I made sure to get out right before I had to travel again. But anyways, I hope you enjoy the latest cover I put out!I grew up with the DCAU/Timmverse, and enjoyed watching them. I loved the music from them as well, from B:TAS all the way to JLU, so I wanted to do some of the themes from the DCAU. I was contemplating trying to get Batman Beyond but couldn't work out a version I felt would work on the piano, at least from me. I can have both as my girlfriend....but I can only marry one, and I still haven't decided which one :O Their themes are also quite contrasting. One has a 50's love song feel while the other is more somber, yet both fitting the characters XDAnyways this game is really fun lol. I love all the music too and thought I'd do something for today. Here's my cover that will most likely round out the end of the year for me, my 2016 version of Snow and Charming's love theme!I wanted make things a bit simpler this time and try not to make things too overly complicated. Also while rewatching some snow and charming scenes I realized there was one aspect of the theme that I rarely touched on in my previous covers, which was like the build up to before the big four note memorable repeating motif of their love theme. So this time i wanted to touch a bit more on that part as well as the main motif and kinda weave them together and see how that works xP. Sorry for the lack of videos lately, i've been very busy and stressed with work and haven't had as much time as before to work on covers. There was one cover I've been working on in my spare time but in the meantime before that one was ready, I wanted to do something quick and fun, and decided to do something from Legends of Tomorrow.I like the main theme of this show, as it gives off the vibe of exploring vast unknowns. The main theme itself is short and instead of extending it out I wanted to put in the theme for the JSA team as well. The JSA theme was introduced in the 2x02 episode "the Justice Society of America" in a really kickass action scene that was only made better by the scoring, so I wanted to do my interpretation of that theme as best as I could.anyways I hope you guys enjoy this. Person of Interest - YHWH (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2016-06-21 | This is it, the final episode of Person of Interest airs tomorrow night. I can't believe this brilliant show is ending already. It's gonna be really sad letting it go, but at least they're going out with a bang! And what better way to pay tribute to the battling gods than a cover on the Samaritan theme? YHWH is a track taken from season 4, that i believe actually was used in the episode Asylum, not YHWH. I really liked how it showed the contrast of the machine's theme vs Samaritan's theme, and wanted to show how they differ, with samaritan's being an inverted version of the machine's theme.I also wanted to play around with the visuals and make it look like i was looking through Samaritan's POV. It's not as fancy as the show but I got some stuff in that I hope makes the visual experience nicer xP. the keyframes of the target reticule aren't too accurate but hopefully that's fine lol.also i decided to dress in a suit for this cover. get it? ehhh? ;D Person of Interest music composed by Ramin Djawadi. Person of Interest - Threat to National Security (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2016-06-13 | Another Person of Interest cover! We're almost to the end of the series, I can't believe it T_T. This is one of my favorite fight scenes in the show and a big part is the intense music that plays during it. It's short but just long enough to get you really pumped up and shows how badass Reese is XD. The piece was a bit tricky given the nature of the song, and i was worried about how it would translate on piano. Person of Interest - Root of All Evil (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2016-05-23 | HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERRA! ^_^I wanted to do some POI covers since the last season was now beginning. Root's theme was one I thought about for a while but was apprehensive in doing because I didn't know if I could make it work well on the piano. Well I buckled down and came up with an arrangement that I think showcased the theme well. My plan was to start out slowly and simple, and then gradually build up the intensity of the theme as time went on. I also wanted to tie it into the main theme a little as well near the end so hopefully it all came together XDI added in the percussion effects with FL studio as I felt they were a big part of her theme, but didn't want to overdo it too much so hopefully the balance is good there. Star Wars - Han Solo and the Princess (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2016-05-05 | Happy Star Wars Day! May the Fourth be with you all! I originally wasn't really planning on putting this out today, as I only had the idea to do a star wars cover a few days ago and hadn't really had time to work on it. But then I saw a bunch of other people were doing some.....wonderful things to show their Star Wars love and appreciation on this day, so I figured I should pull something out as well, so right after work I got down to finishing up the recording and editing of this cover to make sure I got it in, and according to my clock it's still may 4th so nyeeh! This theme was composed by John Williams. This is a classic theme first introduced in Empire Strikes Back, but the cues were heard again in Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens as well. Lots of people celebrated the 4th in different ways, so hopefully this shows how much I enjoy Star Wars, and how I appreciate the people that enjoy them as well :P. Hopefully you all enjoy this cover. Who doesn't love a little Star Wars romance ;)
When Im Gone (Cups Song) - Instrumental duet ft. lilxsweetz 3HeadedMonkey 2016-05-01 | lilxsweetz and I were planning on a hanging this weekend, and wanted to squeeze in a simple easy collab during our time together. We decided to do an instrumental version of the Cups song. I came up with the piano arrangement and had her play it while i did the cupping this entire video. no piano for me! le gasp! :O. We didn't do any singing like other covers, since we can't sing for crap. we decided to stick with our strengths, and hopefully came up with a unique take on this lol. I bought a new mic and figured this could be a good opportunity to test it out. hopefully it came out well for you guys!The Cups song is originally a variant of the 1931 Carter Family song "When I'm Gone." The style with the cups was first done by Lulu and the Lampshades on youtube in 2009, and popularized even further by Anna Kendrick and the movie Pitch Perfect in 2012. Hope you guys enjoy this. Supergirl Medley (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2016-03-21 | Supergirl is probably my favorite new show of the season. It gives me an uplifting feeling from watching that I haven't felt since Smallville ended 5 years ago, not even with the current superhero shows that are on. It's light, yet also deals with many emotional themes pretty well. Like the other superhero shows it has its own flaws but it doesn't stop me from enjoying each episode immensely :D.One main factor to the enjoyment is the brilliant scoring from Blake Neely, who also does The Flash and Arrow. He managed to make vastly distinct themes for each of the superheroes and their respective shows. Supergirl's score takes lots of inspiration from the previous Superman and Smallville scores, giving a very positive and inspiring score that makes you feel as if you're taking flight with Supergirl as well, and also manages to slow down and give great impact on emotional scenes. Supergirl's recurring theme is very pretty....as pretty as Supergirl herself :D. I really enjoyed the music from the show and wanted to do a little medley of different themes I enjoyed from the first few episodes of the season. I've mentioned before that a good score can make a decent scene better, and a great scene even more memorable, so I threw in some parts where I thought the combination of the directing and the music made for a very impacting and memorable scene.I hope you guys enjoy this. :)

Star Wars - Duel of the Fates (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2016-02-02 | My first Star Wars cover ever.....and boy was it a lot of work! x_x.Star Wars is something I've loved ever since I was a little kid. I figured I should do a Star Wars cover since a new movie came out a while ago. At first i was thinking of the main theme but then thought I should do Duel of the Fates instead and then do it with multiple pianos to do something I never really did on this scale before. :O I spent the better part of the month of January working on this when I could; from creating the arrangement, then filming and recording all the parts, and then doing the mixing and video editing! I honest also never really mixed my stuff before, but with this many instruments I knew it would have to be done to properly balance everything out, so hopefully it turned out well. Person of Interest - I Always Told Cal to Be Careful (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2015-12-05 | So CBS announced their midseason schedule, and for some reason Person of Interest isn't listed anywhere on it. Un-fricking-believeable! It's bad enough that they cut down the episode count to 13, but now we prolly won't see the new season until sometime in summer most likely X( I was originally going to save doing this cover until later, closer to when the season was going to premiere, but who knows when that'll be now, so why wait any longer? The song is one of my favorite tracks, and its somber melancholy tone best describes my sorrow when I heard the news of Person of Interest a few days ago...or should I say that LACK of news....Sorry, rant over, I hope you guys enjoy this short cover I did. The music was composed by Ramin Djiwadi. I actually associate it more with the time it was used in 3x10 "the Devil's Share" rather than the first time that the piece was introduced back in season 2, as i felt more of the emotional impact from the usage of it in that scene, not to say it wasn't used brilliantly the first time. Constantine TV Series - Main Theme (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2015-11-09 | I did this theme before in my TV themes medley, but after seeing Constantine show up again in the last ep of Arrow, and hearing his theme when he appeared brought forth my love for this track from the dead! I wanted to make it different than the last time, make it a bit more extended and incorporate the harpsichord that is prevalent in the main theme.I wanted to try something that I've seen some of my other youtube friends do with mixing multiple tracks together. I sort of dabbled in it before with minor background sounds, but not to this extent so I wanted to practice both my video editing and mixing skills to make this, so hopefully it came out well xDConstantine theme is composed by Bear McCreary
Inside Out - Joy Turns to Sadness (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2015-10-11 | This was one of my favorite tracks of the Pixar movie, "Inside Out", showing that we all need some sadness for an emotionally balanced life XD. I wanted to make a cover and extend it out a little as well so this is my arrangement XDThis was meant to only take 1-2 days to cover when i decided I was going to do it, but then I got busy during the week and it ended up being almost a week later that I finally got around to sitting down and arranging a cover for it, but I like how it turned out. Phantom of the Opera - All I Ask of You (piano duet ft. lilxsweetz) 3HeadedMonkey 2015-09-03 | Like this, that's all I ask of youuuuuu :PLook, we're wearing fancy clothes this time! I hadn't worn a suit while playing piano since like back in high school, or middle school for a recital lol, and even then I usually took the jacket off, but we wanted to look fancy! even though i felt stiff, i went on! This is the second of three collaborations we worked on over our epic collab weekend. I always liked taking duet songs where two people sing and convert it to an instrumental duet, arranged so that the main melody shifts back and forth between the two "singing" people. So that's how i arranged it, with lilxsweetz being the "Christine" voice and me being the "Raoul" voice lol XDthis was a challenging duet to do because it's one of those really emotional songs that play fast and loose with the tempo at points, ritarding and then going back to a tempo various times. Supernatural - A Single Man Tear (piano duet ft. lilxsweetz) 3HeadedMonkey 2015-08-23 | Finally another collab session is in place with the lovely lilxsweetz! I suggested that we cover this song from the 200th episode, as I felt it had good collab potential. I came up with this arrangement after watching one by Llama Detective, listening to the one from Fan Fiction over and over, and put my own version towards this duet. Power Rangers Super Megaforce - Legendary Rangers (piano cover) 3HeadedMonkey 2015-08-04 | So last weekend I went to Yestercon and got to meet a bunch of ranger actors there, including Andrew Gray who played Troy on Megaforce/Super Megaforce. Like all the actors I've met, he's really chill and super nice and cool to just talk to, and just an all around funny guy. Any issue I had with his seasons were never with the cast, and I appreciate and understand all the hard work he put into doing the best that he could in his seasons.and even though I might have felt a little letdown overall with how Super Megaforce handled the veteran rangers, when I saw this scene on TV I had to say to myself "ok, that's pretty cool." The slo-mo walking, the removing of the helmets, it made me a little giddy, and of course wishing for more :( XD So since Andrew Gray was able to give a shout-out to my channel, I knew I had to make an actual super megaforce tribute cover, and this scene, with its kicking rock music in the background and epic rangers showing up, was the first choice for me. Edit: gah i didn't realize how goofy i look in the background. i'm too giddy about getting my shout-out lol XD Original Super Megaforce vid came from Pr Samurai Cast so thanks to them.
