For the last launch of the Ariane 5 rocket, specifically the ECA+ variant, it will loft two satellites into a geostationary transfer orbit, leaving the rest of the work to onboard propellant systems. The two satellites are the Syracuse 4B and the Heinrich Hertz (H2Sat) for the French government and German space agency, respectively.
This will be the 117th and final mission for the Ariane 5, which had its first successful launch in 1998 as it’s G variant. The first ever launch attempt was in 1996. The Ariane V has launched numerous notable payloads such as the recently launched James Webb Space Telescope, Rosetta, JUICE, and BepiColombo just to name a few.

Is Starship doomed to repeat history?Everyday Astronaut2023-06-01 | Has SpaceX fallen into a similarly flawed design that plagued the N1? Why did they choose so many engines? Will it continue to suffer a similar fate over and over like the N1 or is there something inherently different?
Today we’ll answer those questions and compare the two most powerful rockets ever made, from different sides of the world and from completely different eras to figure out how they’re similar and perhaps more importantly, how they’re different.

With all four crew members being tourists, the Axiom Space Mission 2 (Ax-2) mission will mark the second fully private mission to the ISS, following only the Axiom Space Mission 1, launched in April of 2022. The crew will launch atop a Falcon 9 Block 5, from Launch Complex 39A, at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, in Florida.
This mission will mark the first return to launch site landing of a crewed mission. This is made possible by SpaceX’s high Starlink launch cadence, which has allowed many optimizations to be made to the vehicle.

Unlike the last Falcon Heavy launch, which featured the landing of the two side boosters back on land, this Falcon Heavy will be fully expended, meaning none of the three boosters will be recovered.
Marking the sixth Falcon Heavy mission, SpaceX will launch two payloads, one significantly heavier than the other. The 6,400 kg (14,000 lb) ViaSat-3 Americas satellite will have a smaller companion riding along side called Arcturus, which only weights 300 kg (660 lb). Both of these satellites will be placed into a geostationary Earth orbit.

The goal of the test is to get as far along in the mission as possible with a handful of important goals such as; clearing the launch pad, reaching max Q, getting to stage separation, ignition of Starship, burn Starship's engines for 7 minutes and 20 seconds which would get Starship up to nearly orbital velocities and would place Starship on a suborbital trajectory that will cause it to reenter just north of Hawaii. This would allow the teams to test the reentry profile and heat shields for the first time from orbital velocities.
