The Hunt for Hellscream Machinimush 2016-01-05 | Set in the time following the Second War and the establishing of the Orcish Internment camps, a group of rag-tagged adventurers find themselves thrown into a strange series of events. Originally hired as mercenaries to hunt down the marauding Warsong clan and their infamous Chieftain, their mission was soon changed to something far larger and more important. While on route to Stratholme the party is ambushed by a group of, what appears to be, a small raiding party of Orcs. Directors note: Hey everyone! In early 2014, friends of mine decided to start up a World of Warcraft RPG game. Having never played any table top DND games before, I immediately signed up and when the time came to vote for a DM, I was voluntold. Despite the fact that I knew nothing about being a DM, they chose me as I’m quite well versed in Warcrafts lore. As a story writer, I was excited to take on this challenge and almost two years later, the campaign is still going strong. As a machinima writer and director who works closely with Mushanga, I proposed the idea of creating a ‘cinematic’ for the finale of their current chapter. Despite the fact the name of the campaign was ‘The Hunt for Hellscream’, the players were no longer concerned with actually finding Hellscream and I decided to make Grom a random elite boss to bring their current chapter to a close. The actual fight happened during a game session and the end cinematic was partially scripted(though they didn’t know what was to happen). There was never going to be a chance for them to kill Grom Hellscream (considering his stats were far superior to theirs) but he did give them one hell of a fight where death was a very likely possibility (despite the scripted end cinematic). Player NPC’s that they met earlier on in the campaign appeared to help the ‘Heroes’ to give them a better chance against the dozens of rampaging Warsongs.I hope you guys enjoy these two cutscenes (even if they may make very little sense as I’ve left out the majority of the story) It was never originally intended to serve as a stand-alone machinima with a flowing story arc but it turned out to be a fun ‘side project’ we took on following our completion of our Second Place Blizzcon Entry.Music featured from the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack, of which we own absolutely nothing of course.

Having narrowly escaped Archimonde's wrath at the World Tree, Jimmy the Gnome and his wish-granting Genie decide to look for a guild in order to get the honor and glory Jimmy so desires. However, when a famous guild at the Stormwind Guild faire doesn't want to admit him, Jimmy decides to use his second wish. Let's just say that the results aren't quite the way he wanted them to be... [WoW Comedy] The 12 oclock to Northrend Machinimush 2009-08-22 | This was my entry to the Blizzcon '09 Machinima contest. Sadly, people submitted better movies so I didn't win anything :) This movie tells the story of two lovers who set out to Northrend on the first boat that left after Wrath of the Lich King launched. Sadfully, their adventure comes to an abrupt halt when they run into a certain iceberg. NOTE: Due to time constraints, the credits had to be cut. However, when Jimmy finds out that the old Greatfather has been kidnapped by the evil Frost Mages of Azeroth he is faced with a difficult choice. Miss out on his present (again!) this year, or use one of his remaining wishes to free the old Greatfather? Will the Frost Mages finally get the buffs they so desire or will Jimmy rise to save the day? Wish upon a Gnome Episode 1 Machinimush 2008-08-29 | This was my entry to WeGame's August Machinima contest. Wish upon a Gnome tells the story of Jimmy Togglewrench, a short lonely Gnome with an ego twice the size of your average dragon. All he ever wanted was honor and glory but being a Gnome doesn't exactly help. After another failed attempt to kill the fabled Vagash in Dun Morogh, he finds a metal gizmo containing a magical Genie and it comes with 3 wishes to boot! Ironforge is destined to bear witness to his first wish, and the mayhem that follows. This is my first ever machinima with voice acting and I'm still very much learning the art of Machinima. Any comments, tips, tricks or other constructive criticism is much appreciated. I'm always looking to improve and trial and error seems to work wonders with Machinima, so please let me know what you think about it! Shouts out to the voice actors, without whom this project would've never been as good as it is in such a short amount of time!
