A good sangria takes time for flavors to develop, and you just can’t expect that sort of dedication at your standard tapas bar. If you do order a sangria, you’ll most likely be served a sugary glass of overpriced bad wine. Instead, do as the locals do and order a tinto de verano (summer wine).
