This is one of quite a few byways in this area that I spotted on my way back from Wiltshire last week, and technically starts from the Hamlet of Well. I had a look on the Hampshire PROW map, and planned a handful that I could link up, and maybe ride on a day trip. The ride through the back lanes of Kent and Surrey brought me via Farnham to Hampshire and into the countryside between Alton and Odiam. Despite not having time to ride the 5 Lanes, at Upton Grey, I covered just over 250 miles in 7 hours, and even managed to stop for a pub lunch. There are still so many more around here that I want to ride, and look forward to coming back again. I'll leave a bit earlier in the morning next time.
