Morane-Saulnier M.S. 406 was the most numerous French fighter aircraft at the beginning of WW2. Curtiss Hawk was the first type in French service to face the mighty Luftwaffe but the domestically built M.S. 406 was soon to follow. How well did it do in the first two battles?
