Sky Elements and Allumee Light Up Monaco with a Record 3,050-Drone Show Over the Formula 1 Circuit
Sky Elements, a global leader in drone show entertainment, staged a historic 3,050-drone light show over Monaco tonight, the largest drone show ever flown in the Principality and the first of its scale ever produced for Formula 1. Sky Elements delivered the production in partnership with Allumee, its operational partner for the landmark event.
Flown above the Monte Carlo skyline, the show traced the iconic Monaco Grand Prix circuit in the night sky before bringing the grid to life: rendering the logos and cars of the Formula 1 teams in light, hundreds of feet above the harbor.
The performance also celebrated two milestones for the sport: the renewal of the Monaco Grand Prix on the F1 calendar through 2035 and the extension of the Las Vegas Grand Prix through 2037, securing two of the championship's most storied and most spectacular venues well into the next decade.
"Monaco is the crown jewel of Formula 1, and we wanted to honor that legacy with something this audience had never seen before," said Rick Boss, President/CEO of Sky Elements. "Flying 3,050 drones over this circuit, recreating the track and every team on the grid in the sky, is a milestone for our company and for what's possible in live entertainment."
Sky Elements led the creative vision and production of the show, partnering with Allumee for the deployment and execution of the 3,050-drone performance. The collaboration deepens a growing relationship between the two companies and reflects the increasing internationalization of large-scale drone entertainment.
