After helping his daughter rescue a bear cub (with the help of Animal Planet's Northern Lights Wildlife Shelter from Wild Bear Rescue), Greg returns to the bush that was devastated by wildfires. He meets up with Joe @CanadianFunGuy and discovers a diverse bounty of wild plants and mushrooms bursting through the recently scorched earth. Greg sautés and boils his foraged food, while also enjoying it raw, and even making a nutritious green TEA from the plants! He and Finn also encounter MORE BEARS!

Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.
