When World Superbike began, nobody expected an Italian V-twin to beat the Japanese fours. Raymond Roche proved otherwise, taking Ducati's first world title in 1990 β and then Doug Polen made it look routine with back-to-back championships in 1991 and 1992. The machine underneath him was the 888, and it turned Ducati from a specialist curiosity into the name that defined Superbike racing for a decade.
The Strada is the road-going version of that story: the 888cc desmo V-twin, wrapped in Ducati's signature steel trellis frame. Narrow, purposeful and utterly unlike anything else on the road. It bridges the gap between the 851 that started it all and the 916 that made Ducati famous β and it is, quietly, the one that did the winning.

Finished in classic Ducati red and showing 26.437 kilometres. It comes with Dutch registration papers and an impressive file of documentation, including the original Ducati sales brochure. A selection of spare parts is included in the sale, among them an exhaust system.
