For today's video I wanted to show you how to make a bright cocktail bursting with summer goodness. I am in appreciation of the spring flowers and ready for summer.
"Bring June Flower's" is an amazing cocktail begging for us all to try something different, something a bit floral and something that gives us the perfect pop of summer flavor. I do hope you will take the time to make this cocktail. It is one of my all time favorites and well worth the effort. It will impress I promise. Join me for the "Bring June Flower's" Cocktail.
Bring June Flower's | Cocktail Ingredients
1 1/2 oz. (45 ml) Vodka
1/2 oz. (15 ml) Suze
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Jasmine Tea Simple Syrup
3 - 4 Muddle Cucumbers
Lemon/Cucumber stack to garnish
*Making the Jasmine Tea Simple Syrup:
Feel free to cut this recipe in half.
Make a (1 cup or) 8 oz cup of "Jasmine" Green tea. Let it steep for 2 minutes or less.
Remove bag and ad (1 cup or) 8 oz of sugar.
Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
Decant into a bottle.
Keeps well in the fridge for two to three weeks.
**For a more robust flavor I use a loose leaf.
I do not boil tea water. I keep it between 180 and 190 depending or remove it from heat just
before it would roll to a boil. Do not let it steep for more than 2 minutes.
It will be bitter if you do. Start over if it's bitter, we don't want that.
