Fire chicken is one of the most popular dishes in Korea, as well as being one of the most popular Korean dishes around the world. But have you ever tried it with blue cheese?
During the Black Summer bushfires in Australia in 2019 so many people and businesses suffered, particularly in areas like the Adelaide Hills. This is where I grew up and my old friend Sheree Sullivan runs a boutique cheese business there. They were lucky in one respect that the local fire service was able to save their buildings, but the fire knocked out power for days which meant that nearly $2 million worth of cheese that they were ageing had to be thrown out.
