I’ve been using the OREI BK-4927 HDMI 2.1 switch and audio extractor for about a week now, and wanted to share my experience setting it up and using it day to day in my home theater.
If you’ve got a newer TV with HDMI 2.1 but an older receiver or soundbar, this might be exactly what you need. It lets you hook up multiple 4K120 or 8K60 devices, automatically switch between them, and still send proper audio (including eARC) to your receiver or soundbar. Everything I tested worked as expected: no sync issues, no handshake problems, and it handled Dolby Vision, HDR10, and VRR just fine.
OREI sponsored this video and sent the unit over, but everything here is based on my own real-world use. If you’ve been running into HDMI 2.1 or eARC headaches, hopefully this helps you figure out if the BK-4927 is a good fit for your setup.

👍 Thanks again to OREI for sponsoring this one, and thank you for watching! If you found this helpful, consider giving it a thumbs up or sharing it with someone setting up a new HDMI 2.1 system.
