Part 9: Having just mated our GOOD MALE and GREAT FEMALE to get a BLUE or GREEN Chocobo we can not mate them again for a while. Leave Chocobo Ranch and do ten random battles on the world map. When finished SAVE YOUR GAME. Head into the Chocobo ranch and mate the GOOD MALE AND GREAT FEMALE one last time using a CAROB NUT. We need them to produce the opposite colour and gender of their first Chocobo - so if you previously got a GREEN FEMALE like I did in part 8 you now need a BLUE MALE and vice versa.
