The FiiO BTR17 is a $220 portable Bluetooth receiver, DAC, and headphone amplifier that turns any pair of wired headphones or IEMs into a high-quality wireless setup. Built around the Qualcomm QCC5181 chip with Bluetooth 5.4, dual ESS ES9069Q DACs, and a THX AAA 78+ amplification stage, it supports LDAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless. In Desktop Mode with an external 5V supply, it delivers up to 650mW into 32 ohms — serious power in a pocket-sized device.
