WVN51 transferred to Croydon (C) from Northumberland Park (NP). It was last seen at NP on the 476 on July 3rd 2020, and was first seen at C on the 119 on September 5th 2020.Since this working, WVN20 also did the route on the 26th of January, and then a couple more times afterwards. We decided to do that first as Scanias were on it, and the time ete was quite short, so yeah. *THRASH + HOOVER* Go-Coach Route 431 Journey | Volvo B7TL Plaxton President - 8304 (Y825TGH) GLB The 2nd 2022-01-25 | This was supposed to be uploaded yesterday, but I spent way too long outside so I had no time to edit this. Anyway, here is 8304 on the first trip of the PVL Farewell Tour, on route 431 towards Sevenoaks. This bus performed quite well throughout the day, however it was obvious that it was quite tired. Enjoy!History of Y825TGH:Y825TGH was new to London Central's New Cross (NX) garage for routes 171 and 172 in April 2001, originally fleeted as PVL225. PVL225 stayed at NX until June 2010, where it was withdrawn from TFL services, and transferred to Camberwell (Q) to become a commercial vehicle. In August of the same year, PVL225 returned to NX. Sometime in 2011, PVL225 was converted to part-open top, and was given the red, white and silver 'General' livery, with an LED display fitted in as well. In November 2013, Y825TGH transferred to Metrobus' Orpington (MB) garage, then transferred back to NX again a month later, where it spent its final days. Y825TGH was purchased by Go-Coach in January 2014, and was re-fleeted to 8304 two years later. Y825TGH was one of the first Volvo B7s to be bought by Go-Coach, along with PVL209 (Y809TGH), and PVL217 (Y817TGH); all three PVLs were purchased directly from Go-Ahead London.I hope you are all safe and well. Journey | Wrights Coaches Scania Omnicity N230UD - Y70PTS GLB The 2nd 2022-01-19 | Here is ex-RATP SP17 getting maxed out on the, on an emergency Greater Anglia rail replacement service between Shenfield and Chelmsford. We managed to reach 65mph!! This rail rep wasn't that good in terms of allocation, however the routes themselves were quite interesting, despite traffic.SP17 was new to London United in March 2008, almost 14 years ago, and its original registration was YN08DHA. It was one of the many buses withdrawn during the first lockdown, back in April 2020. SP17 spent its last days at Fulwell (FW) on route 71, along with some school trips. *NEW ROUTE* Tower Transit Route 733 Journey | Volvo B5LH Wright Gemini 3 - VH38119 (BU16UXG) GLB The 2nd 2022-01-17 | Due to southbound platform upgrades at Bank Station, the Bank branch of the Northern Line will be closed between Kennington and Moorgate until mid-May 2022. To replace that, route 733 was temporarily introduced between Oval and Moorgate, Finsbury Square to connect the stations in between (despite being a 133 clone which was barely used today). Here is a journey on the first bus out from Kennington, VH38119. Enjoy!Fun fact: These exact same BU16s will be allocated to route 135 when that passes to Tower Transit, which happens the day after the last day of route 733 in service, in May.London bus route 733 is operated by Tower Transit from their Lea Interchange (LI) garage, allocated with BU16 Volvo B5LH Wright Gemini 3's, that recently returned from being loaned to Stagecoach London's Catford (TL) garage for route 160. *BRAND NEW* Abellio London Route 63 Journey | Alexander Dennis Enviro400City EV - 3410 (LC71KWT) GLB The 2nd 2022-01-15 | Filmed the night before my birthday, and before the Victoria to Orpington RRP visual, here is a journey on one of the brand new 'high spec' E400 EVs ordered for Abellio's tender win of route 63. Along with having the same design and sounds as the standard EVs, this batch comes with wooden flooring, phone holders, an iBus display similar to the Caetano e.Ctiy Golds, a different moquette for the disability seats, and the poles upstairs have been replaced by handles to reduce squeaking sounds. These EVs are quite loud, however it's a shame that they're missing the glass staircase. Also, sorry for my upload schedule being messy. Lately the sun's been out, so I've been out taking photos of buses that are planned to be withdrawn soon, which gives me less time to make videos. [FRV] Go-Coach Route 431X: Kemsing, Noahs Ark - Tunbridge Wells GLB The 2nd 2022-01-12 | One of the many routes recreated during the farewell event for Go-Coach's PVLs, and the most visualled route (about 5 phones and one go-pro were at the front lmao). This followed the TW1 school route from Kemsing, through Seal, Bat & Ball, Sevenoaks, the A21 and Tonbridge to St John's Church, and then continued via the 7, 402 etc to Tunbridge Wells Station. One of the routes that got extras was London United's H91, which was operated by Abellio London with E400's from Battersea (QB). *Kickdown + Fast* Arriva London South Route 466 Journey | Alexander Dennis Enviro400 - T62 (LJ08CXS) GLB The 2nd 2021-12-20 | Christmas Advent Calendar #20As these are going soon, we decided to ride T62 down to Addington Village for fun. This run was really good, with some kickdown, and according to LTM's speedometer, we did 50 up Gravel Hill, which is pretty good! There were some downshifts as well, but it's hard to hear thanks to my camcorder's audio, but if you can hear it then that's good. See, when this route returns in the new year, things will be different. It will still be with Arriva London from TC with G2's, however it will be renumbered to 645, and will be extended from West Croydon to Waddon Marsh. While the change is good, this means that the bus in this video was the last bus to be blinded "West Croydon 405" (excluding blind changes), and have the Ibus "405 To West Croydon", obviously meaning this was the last "405" to serve West Croydon, unless sometime in the future it gets re-extended back to the bus station. This journey was filmed on DW307, which was fortunately empty, considering most schools were already finished by then. Enjoy! MVs** are quite common at night as the 414 is now crosslinked with route N97. DNH39123** was the first bus of the day out of Putney Bridge, as well as being the first out of Marble Arch.Tbh, I find the cutback to Marble Arch rather stupid, and a lot of you think the same as well. Over 80% of people voted against the change, yet TFL went ahead with it anyway. This trip took 20 minutes in total, which is rather short.** On Saturday December 11th, Tower Transit's X merged with RATP Group, and became "RATP Dev: Transit London". *LAST DAY OF SERVICE* London General Route 718 | Optare Esteem / ADL Enviro 200 - SOE5 (LX09AYK) GLB The 2nd 2021-12-05 | From November 30th 2019, routes 118, 280, N44 and N133 were on diversion due to a collapsed bridge in Mitcham. Temporary circular route 718 was introduced between Morden Station and Rose Hill Roundabout, to serve the unused section of the 118 and a small part of the 280. As the 718 was only temporary, and the diversion was supposed to end in early 2020, one Ibus announcement "718 To Morden" was created, but no blinds. Instead, every bus that used the route was a bandit. However, due to Covid (I think), the roadworks were delayed multiple times, continuing into 2021.Two years later, with the bridge works finally being complete, and the bridge fully reopened, all diverted routes have now returned to their original LOR prior to November 2019, meaning that the 718 is no longer needed. After the last run on SE269 today, route 718 will cease operation.I hope you are all safe and well.
