Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, and this video covers a full playthrough of Chapter 7, Those Left Behind.

Chapter 7 is one of the longest and most varied chapters in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, taking the party from the Corel Region into Mt Corel and the Coal Mines as Barret confronts a deeply personal part of his past tied to the Corel Mako Reactor. The chapter splits the party across two separate storylines, with Cloud facing a boss fight against the Custom Valkyrie, a Shinra helicopter deployed by Elena and Rude of the Turks, before reuniting with Barret, Tifa and Yuffie for a second boss fight against the Gigatrice in the Coal Mines. The chapter also features a perspective shift to Zack, adding another layer to one of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's most intriguing ongoing story threads, before closing with the party heading to the Gold Saucer by cable car.
Chapter 7 draws heavily from one of the most emotionally powerful sections of the original Final Fantasy VII, and Rebirth delivers it with the full weight it deserves on Nintendo Switch 2.
