My solo climb of 13er Father Dyer Peak (13,615’) via its class 3 east ridge, and traverse to nearby Centennial Crystal Peak (13,859’), in the Tenmile Range near Breckenridge, Colorado. The east ridge of Father Dyer has just enough spice to make it exciting and the difficulty never exceeds class 3. Crystal Peak summit has expansive views of mountains in the Tenmile and Sawatch Range. Overall this is a really fun route without too much commitment. Best part is one is almost guaranteed to have solitude. I didn’t see anyone above Crystal Lakes. Total stats: 7.8 miles with 3000ft elevation gain
