You know, it's a bit tricky.

But if you only made small changes, like adding some objects;
1. You can put them where it should be (maybe adding some props on table),
2. then COPY them,
3. PASTE IN PLACE in a blank SketchUp File,
4. SAVING to another file (ex. Update.skp)
5. Open your .blend project, IMPORT the .skp update ... your new objects should be in the right position.
