Description: Works on Window 8.1 & 10, per comments bellow. If you have a game that you've been playing and have had successful saves and now for some reason won't save your games anymore it's probably your virus protection. Bitdefender for some reason after years of playing has started changing my programs access authorization and not allowing my games to save. Here's how I fixed it for FALLOUT4:
- Open Bitdefender.
- Click on the Protection Tab.
- Under Safe Files click on "Application Access".
- Click on the grey colored oval tab to the right of the program so that it turns blue. This should allow the program to have access to change files. This will allow the program to act like it should before your virus protection program got a hold of it.
- If you don't see the program in the list, try playing a saving it then when it doesn't work go check the list again. If it's not there then you may have to click on the "Add a new application to the list" blue highlighted words above the applications list. You will have to find the and click on the EXE for it to be added to the list. Thanks for watching. I hope this helps someone save their games. If this helped you please give me a thumbs up / Like for my time to do this for you all. Best Wishes, Blessings & Happy Gaming. Keith Noneya
