In this video we feature Team Axion from Penrith Christian School. This is an extended version of the story that appears in the 2020 State Finals Program.
Axion is an Australian Junior Professional team participating in the F1 in Schools programme for the 2020 season. Previously known as the Development team Unity, the team strove to continue on their quest for representing Australia at the World Finals.
Coming back from the National Finals they learnt a lot about themselves and they are excited as ever to have another crack. Axion has embarked on an Enterprise journey with Project Management, Skills Development, Marketing and Partnerships. Only together as a team could they have made it this far. They are the team they are because of the people they surround themselves with.
As a team they set themselves 3 main goals to have a better understanding of what they wanted to achieve through the competition and what they wanted to achieve individually. The team goals were:
1. Grow from Unity: Previously known as Unity they want to keep growing as individuals and as a team with different skill sets from F1.
2. Break the Mystery: Unlocking the truth to find more about themselves and the secrets to success, linking back to the teams branding.
3. Make it to World Finals: Last season they were placed 5th at Nationals and now are aiming for the World Finals.
Making it to the World Finals is such a huge achievement and would be an amazing result for Team Axion.
