Join onboard with Lance Stroll's last Mercedes-powered Aston Martin AMR25 for a couple of laps around the historic Sebring International Raceway, home of the annual IMSA 12 Hours of Sebring.
The Sebring Circuit was built on a former World War II airfield in the city of of the same name and was opened in 1950. The first race held on the track was a 6-hour endurance race.
Formula 1 raced at Sebring once in 1959 for the inaugural United States Grand Prix (excluding the Indy 500 runnings) with Bruce McLaren for Cooper T52-Climax as the winner.
The track's main feature, resulting from sharing part of its surface with the airport, is its concrete sections with numerous joints. The transition from one section to the next is quite rough, causing the bottom of the car to rub against the track, highlighted by numerous sparks flying. This, combined with the slight slope of the road surface, makes the track, especially in wet weather, a real challenge for drivers.
