[PoE2] THIS Skill is Causing More Harm than Good for Flicker Strike Gameplay

SnooBAE85 2025-01-20 | Recently I've been experimenting with dropping most of the non-crit non-attribute points on the passive tree for my latest crit-attribute stacking variant of a Flicker Strike Invoker build. This has dramatically improved my damage and speed with Tempest Flurry, mimicking the playstyle of a high-end Gemling Legionnaire variant. Knowing what I know about that more popular variant, it's called into question my prolonged usage of Charged Staff and Flicker Strike, and the functional value they bring into the build.

In this sort of deep dive video, I explain my thoughts on these two skills, weighing the pros and cons of each, as well as their interactions together (with a gameplay showcase). For now I'm very much leaning against Charged Staff while keeping Flicker Strike. But I'm definitely curious about your guys' setups, and why you've chosen to use either one, neither one, or both. [PoE2] Im Currently Evading a Multi-week Account Lock by Ignoring GGG Support

SnooBAE85 2025-01-16 | On the day after Christmas, my account got hacked. I discovered I wasn't the only one, so I made a video to force the conversation around the question of a potential security breach at GGG. It was a highly speculative video, as not much was really known at the time, except for the seemingly systemic nature in how users were getting hacked. Now it has come to light that GGG had indeed had one of their admin accounts breached through Steam, which may explain much of what happened here. However, I'm skeptical that everything they've said so far encompasses the full extent of what happened. So, the story continues. This video is an update on what information GGG has shared about the ongoing situation through the lens of many players (including myself) who have been stricken not only by having been hacked, but further penalized with locked accounts for weeks on end. The most important takeaway from this video is recognizing the atrociously bad customer service these players have been receiving.

[PoE2] CI CoC Attribute Stacking Flicker Strike Invoker - BUILD SHOWCASE

SnooBAE85 2025-01-12 | The Flicker Strike dream continues! After many evolutions of the build, I've come to find this high-budget crit-based attribute-stacking version to be the best all arounder. This build absolutely dominates content, so much so that a massive Herald nerf might actually be a net benefit to it. Three separate ways to approach combat, one is Tempest Flurry + Charged Staff. Another is Walking + Flicker Strike. And the third is Tempest Flurry + Tempest Bell spam. All three of these have their optimal scenarios for use, and together they create a total package of damage dealing that most builds would envy.

The budget for this build with the gear shown here is somewhere in the 400-800 divine orb range. Some pieces would be difficult to replicate even still. Use the Maxroll link as a guide, and as a stepping stone with other powerful variants far cheaper to setup than this one.

[PoE2] The Most Consistent Way to Farm Currency on Empty Maps

It turns out, Delirious Waystones are easy to come by and are a great way to make consistent currency on maps that serve no purpose other than a travel node. [PoE2] How to Make the Most out of Farming Citadels in the Atlas

SnooBAE85 2025-01-10 | A while back I learned that Waystone drop chance impacts the number of Crisis Fragments each Citadel boss drops. Yesterday on stream I did a Copper Citadel and got a record four fragments. I wasn't sure at the time what the breakpoint in Waystone drop chance was to achieve this or if there was an added RNG component to it. After digging deeper, it appears there are set breakpoints of 0/300/600/1200 for 1/2/3/4 fragments dropped per boss kill. Here are a few things you can do hit that 1200% Waystone chance benchmark.

[PoE2] Five Things You Can Do to FIX Your Monks Mana Problem

SnooBAE85 2025-01-04 | Here's another video addressing a question I often get asked, "How is the build against bosses?" "How do we deal with the mana problem?" I decided to take a break from mapping to test a new-and-improved crit/attribute stacking version of the Flicker Strike Invoker in most strenuous mana situations. The DPS on uber bosses is certainly there, but only if we can use mana. It wasn't all that easy, but I did a couple of things to make it work real nice.

Hopefully you can take something away from this video to improve your mana situation if you're at a point in progression where you struggle in this department (especially against bosses). Let us know in the comments down below.

*PATCHED OUT* [PoE2] NEW TECH Unlocked for Getting Power Charges EASILY

SnooBAE85 2025-01-02 | Much tech-related content I showcase I don't come up with all by myself. In some cases it's 100% on account of a tip from a viewer. And in rare cases, that tip is monumental for improving the gameplay on a particular build I'm running. This is one of those cases. Up until now, Profane Ritual and Combat Frenzy (plus Resonance) were the only viable known ways to acquire power charges for this Flicker Strike Invoker. Both require you to be in combat, and both have certain aspects unfavorable aspects to them beyond this.

[PoE2] This Jewel Saves 11 Passive Points for the Invoker Monk

SnooBAE85 2024-12-24 | To much surprise, several of Path of Exile's most powerful jewels have made a return to the new game. One such jewel, Controlled Metamorphosis, is showcased here with a very optimized positioning that can allow you to efficiently grab up to three separate 'increased movement speed' nodes you probably otherwise wouldn't get. All-in-all I personally saved 11 passive points that I wouldn't normally spend just to path where I needed to. Four of those points are dumped into other premium nodes in the wheel. This allowed me to take a much different route that's more crit-friendly, and so this jewel is truly an enabler for the swap to crit. I highly recommend getting one for Invoker (and possibly other ascendancy/builds).

This character is criminally tanky for how fast it is, and if it is to receive future nerfs, it'll probably be on the defensive side. Flicker Strike + Lightning Warp is the build I theorycrafted (to some extent) prior to launch, and I've felt no need to swap away to something else. It's been an absolute blast thus far. While this showcase only features mapping setups, the build is quite capable at bossing too with only a few adjustments. I'll make another video featuring that in the near future.

[PoE2] Uber Trial of the Sekhemas FULL Run-through UNCUT on Invoker Monk

SnooBAE85 2024-12-17 | Trial of the Sekhemas (often referenced as Sanctum 2.0 from PoE1) and Trial of Chaos (Ultimatum 2.0) are the replacements for the old labyrinth ascendancy trials. Players gain an enormous power spike by completing these in four different settings. This video features the highest challenge for the Trial of the Sekhemas. Completing it grants the player their last two ascendancy points, a specialized unique relic boss drop, and a chance to get additional rewards like Grand Spectrum jewels.

Doing these ascendancy trials is a time-consuming endeavor that can be quite punishing and frustrating in the face of failure. Here's a full, uncut playthrough with lots of commentary, tips, accidental findings, etc that should help propel you towards success in your attempts and perhaps save you valuable time in the learning process. [PoE2] A Most Ambitious Flicker Warp Build Concept for Path of Exile 2 Early Access

Shedding Light on the Previous Topic of WASD with a REACT REACTION

SnooBAE85 2024-12-02 | Apparently WASD and click-to-move is a much touchier subject than I initially realized, which only reaffirms my suspicions about the debate not getting proper scrutiny up to this point. And evidently there are A LOT more WASD/Controller enthusiasts than I thought eager to play this game. For for the first time ever, and after more than 500 videos posted, my most recent unusually opinionated video received a negative like-to-dislike ratio.

To all the people engaging in civil discourse over this topic (whether for or against WASD), I thank you for your previous comments. Unfortunately, it's clear to me that many people thought I was memeing, or needlessly angry about WASD integration, failing to recognize what I was really trying to get at. While I prefer to keep things civil and stick with making more informative content, I will always defend my position when I believe my position isn't adequately understood.

For these reasons, I feel compelled to shed more light on the situation. My actual stance on this issue, my personal history with WASD, and why I ultimately made the video in the way that I did. SnooBAE85 2024-11-30 | A lot of confusion arose amongst the PoE community following the announcement of a brand new combat system the developer team had been working on. Most people's gut reaction was negative, but after immense assurance from the PoE2 dev team, many testers, and even some content creators, people are now banking on WASD being superior to click-to-move mouse as a core gameplay mode.

After much consideration and limited testing of it myself, I've come to realize that WASD and this new combat system to capitalize it has been grossly overstated and hyped beyond its merit. In this video I present three independent reasons as to why this is clearly the case. Nonetheless, I still advise any and all PC players to utilize WASD to their liking. The goal of this video is to temper expectations and encourage players to reason and deduce for themselves if and when they should opt out of it, so they may get the most prolonged enjoyment out of this game as possible

Expect a significant ramp up in size and clarity of these tools and information in the coming days. At the time of recording, Path of Building 2 is not released, and likely won't be until well after the launch of Early Access.

This final week is going to be FULL of clickbait guides pawned off as finished builds. I would not advise following anything that remotely resembles a build guide, including what you see in this video. But theorycrafting can be a lot of fun! So instead of just following other creators' creations, learn to do it yourself and revel in the discovery process! As for me, this is the most fun I've had in a long time playing at not playing the game.

[PoE 3.25] FINAL RESULTS from 1000 Magic Pack Wisped Sanctuary Maps

Wisps have returned this league, but are only a shadow of their former selves. [PoE2] Livestream Reveal Reaction Highlights

SnooBAE85 2024-11-23 | The much awaited Path of Exile 2 livestream reveal has happened! After much speculation, we now have a better understanding of what to expect from the Endgame. Delve meets the Atlas for what appears to be an endless progression loop or at least a progression loop with endless possibilities. Several league mechanics have been stripped with some of their rewards merged into other league mechanics which remain. Yet this core game seems to error on the side of being too complicated, still. The passive skill tree is bigger than ever with more classes and ascendancies to choose from. I really look forward to seeing how the PoE 1 community responds to initial Early Access playthroughs and comparing that to how brand new PoE players feel about the game.

[PoE 3.25] 1000 MAPS # 601-700 - Wisped Magic Pack Currency Farm (cumulative +33 divines per hour)

SnooBAE85 2024-11-14 | Here's maps set 601-700. For this set of maps I experimented by forgoing currency rolls on maps and Beyond to focus more on pack size with scarab rolls and more scarab nodes on the atlas tree. While scarab value was up moderately, it looked like currency took a pretty big hit. And this may mean a legitimately lower chance of dropping locks and mirrors. A worthy experiment, but I think I'll be going back to the other tree after this.

The first and last parts of the video are not included in the results, but took place moments before kicking off this set. Fun times! Enjoy the video.

[PoE 3.25] 100 MAPS - Revisiting Pilfered Diviners Boxes - Prep & Results (20-40 div+ per hour)

SnooBAE85 2024-11-10 | Well hey folks, I've got the pilfer bug, and it demands I get in one more grand session of pilfered diviner's boxes. Did you know that many of the most valuable cards are worth a lot more now than they were a couple months ago? Yet the investment costs of doing this strategy have barely moved in that same window of time. This makes farming pilfered divination cards one of the very best T16 strategies in the game right now! (so long as you can stand rolling just a few boxes) 1000 magic pack map test continues now after this.

Honestly, if you're still messing around in 3.25 v1 and you've gotten a well-built character, do some of these maps especially if you never did before. It's a lot of fun! Enjoy the video. The highlights are pretty great.

[PoE 3.25] The Most DRAMATIC Endgame Quiver Craft of MY LIFE

SnooBAE85 2024-11-01 | One big reason I haven't made a build showcase video yet for this Tornado Shot Warden is because I really wanted to first make a rare quiver with +1 chain implicit. Recently, I discovered recombination is a legit tool to make this happen. So while the double corruption chamber has failed me nearly 100 times now, I'm off to test my luck with the equally exciting yet more infuriating recombinator.
