More Earthquake of Amplification mechanics weirdness (Generals Cry *does* work, sort of) [PoE 3.24] XanthoPOE 2024-06-06 | tl;dwGeneral's Cry actually *does* work. My previous tests were using increased duration support, and it seems the game doesn't like when the duration is *too* long, and caps the number of active waiting aftershocks. The strange thing is that you can place even *more* aftershocks without issue by lowering your General's Cry cooldown, but keeping your duration lower than about 6 seconds. Both duration wheels on the tree + the mastery seem to work well without hitting the threshold where GC stops working, however I didn't have quality on my gem. With 20 qual, or maybe an Ashes of the Stars you may need to drop one of the duration wheels and test whether you still get aftershocks.
Cool interaction between Earthquake of Amplification and Tawhoa, Forests Strength [PoE 3.24] XanthoPOE 2024-06-04 | tl;dwBasically each mirage chieftain from the Tawhoa ascendancy notable has their own independent Earthquake timer, which allows the the queuing of aftershocks, and the circumvention of the skill's line "Cracks created before the first one has erupted will not generate their own aftershocks". With a 5 second duration for example, each hit after the 'startup' period will hit for 1275% damage, up to 1.4 times every second (with CDR gear). Combined with the 150% x2 initial hit attack damage of both you and your Mirage Chieftain (also 1.4x per second) this totals 2,205% attack damage per second. Very clunky to get the chain going though.

Can likely do red maps with maybe 10c in gear. Core pieces are Facebreaker, Bringer of Rain, and Tukohama's Fortress. Meginord's Girdle is also very cheap and highly recommended, though if you're tight on res, you can probably get away with a resistance belt instead.

Energy Blade and hybrid life/ES will carry you from Act 3 to 7 where you can *then* switch to full Energy Shield with around 3k ES and CI + Ephemeral Edge. This will likely be the last video until the content reveal/patch notes where I will probably make a video going over any nerfs/buffs/changes to the build, and then release the actual video guide and final PoB maybe a day later.
