Contrary to the level name, this actually turned out to be a very quick project of mine (at least for my standards). I wanted to experiment with better theming in my levels, as that has been my main critique to myself regarding my last projects. So, although not completely original or anything, I'm glad I actually managed to finish something rather quickly. Not a masterpiece, but hope you'll all still enjoy this.

Neo

I can hardly put into words what it took to finally get this level out. Motivation for this level came in waves for me, and because of that this took way longer than expected to finish. I started this project back in June of 2021, which means that it took nearly 18 months for me to get to this point. I'm glad I stuck with it, because without that I wouldn't have learned so much about creating.

The level name "Neo" does not equate to anything Neo-design related (the term wasn't even coined when I thought of the name), but instead was originally just a cool way to say Neon. But from working on this level for a while, the level name made me realize how the original definition of Neo really fits with this level; new and improved. And I've certainly improved heaps from when this started to now.

Hopefully though, I don't take this long on a level ever again. And if I do, it better be worth it. Because this was definitely a struggle to keep up with.

I am happy though that this level is finally out, and I hope anyone who plays it will enjoy their experience!

Special thanks to Zipi, Bigmac77, Xiron, Sands, Tricipital, Nobody9292, Minity, AGSilver, PhantomX, Infra, Blaake, Looch, and Koopazu for playtesting. Without this large group of people, this level would not be as quality as it is currently. So again, thank you.
