WARNINGS
1) Non/Disney is the term that has been used for 10 years in the community to define AMV-like videos (and manips) created with content both from Disney (the better-known majority) and from other animation studios.
That's where the term Non/Disney comes from, to make things easier.

2) The choice I made for the villains was not accidental and we have deliberately inserted anti-heroes and simple antagonists. Because we didn't want to do the usual video with the usual villains.
Why did I leave the word "villains" in the title? Because the longer a title is, the worse it is shared on YouTube. So take "Villains" as a multi-faceted macro topic, a characterization with shades of grey. Nothing is black or white.

This is an MEP with animation movies, so fandom like Animash, Non/Disney and Anime Movies are included! (AMVs in general)

This video started as a simple idea "wow how cool would it be if I put the marching hyenas scene to the rhythm of Phonky Town for an Halloween video??".
Of course, it had to develop into something I unfortunately didn't foresee. As I looked for visually matching scenes and focused on just that, I started feeling uneasy.
This feeling became straight up discomfort when I ended up with a complete video in my hands, discomfort and shivers from the pure dystopic anguish that I somehow shoved into it.

Sometimes you read "in this art piece, the artist expressed their fears and emotions in such and such ways", and I think I can check that off my hobo artist achievement list.
I unintentionally made something that gives me anguish and discomfort, vent art if you will.
I haven't taken my eyes off of news from the European front, and I can tell you that the gas prices aren't what's worrying me, and I just couldn't get out of my head that what I was staring at was nothing less than a glimpse of the future.
I'm aware of the immense privilege of growing up in a place where everyone around me could say "it won't ever happen again here" and "we learned from our mistakes, so maybe the shattering of that fake sense of security is what's been getting to me. I look outside (and, given recent events, inside) my country and ask myself "when will it happen next door? When will it be our turn?", and nothing is scarier than that.

PS: I willingly avoided using clips from movies that were based on real events of the last century (like Waltz with Bashir, Persepolis, Grave of the Fireflies, The Breadwinner, etc), as they made me feel sick with discomfort.

So yeah, it has been 11 years since I've started posting here.
And of course, in 10 years of writing in English, I haven't learned a single f-NOOOOO (this message is being obviously translated by Sylk, otherwise it would have been a tragedy)

I'm happy with my time spent here, even if 3-4 years out of 11 were basically void. It's always a bad surprise when you finish high school and discover you have to pay taxes.
In 10 years I have finished high school, went to a Filmmaking Academy, and now I work full time as a video editor: this wouldn't have been possible without the passion for video editing that I've cultivated here, also in no small amount thanks to your support.
They may have been just colorful animals moving to the beat of music or highly questionable crossover edits, but they've been extremely important to get me where I am now, for my professional growth and the development of my style.

This is a personal project for Furizon unofficially created by me since I had a lot of unused footage and wanted to do something based more on my style. The video is not intended to be representative of the furry convention, but it is literally a delirium, a sort of AMV/Furry music video/After Party thing.

Buonasera signore e signori! L'idea base di questo video viene dal fatto che ho notato che il testo di Zitti e Buoni si adattava perfettamente a Luca, e quindi-
Niente, ho aperto Premiere e fine.
Ho deciso di mantenermi su uno stile più RAW senza lettering perché sono convinta che in questo caso il lettering sarebbe solo di troppo: le clip sono già perfette così come sono.

Good evening guys, gals, and non-binary pals! The idea for this video came to me the moment I noticed that the "Zitti e Buoni" lyrics perfectly fit the movie "Luca", and then... well, I opened Premiere and this happened, not much else to say.
I decided to opt-out of using lettering and go for a RAW style because it felt redundant, the clips are just too perfect on their own.
