Missing Agatha Christie Short Story: The Wife of the Kenite Obscure Book Adventures 2025-09-21 | In 2018 an in 1922 published Agatha Christie short story resurfaced; The Wife of the Kenite. This a-typical Agatha Christie story just blew me away. Not a cosy mystery, but a thriller (some people call it horror) it isn't what you would've expected from the grand dame of the who-done-it. Bantam Book Pulp Novel: My Flag is Down by James Maresca Obscure Book Adventures 2025-09-17 | Bantam Books is a very famous publishing company of pulp novels 'My Flag is Down: the Diary of a New York Taxi Driver' (1949) by James Maresca is one of those Bantam Book pulp novels. The cover illustration is by Casey Jones. The blurb text promises a fun read.For my pulp novel blurb bonanza project, I will take a closer look at the blurb text of these fun pulp novels. Drexel Jerome Lewis Bixby was an American short story writer and scriptwriter. He wrote the 1953 story It's a Good Life (which was adapted to a Twilight Zone episode and film), which was included in The Science Fiction Hall of Fame. And with The Draw, he definitely does not disappoint. Highly Entertaining Pulp Detective | FBI Series: Alarm by Edward Multon Obscure Book Adventures 2025-05-14 | It seems almost impossible, but Dutch writer Edward Multon cranked out 14 to 16 pulp novels a year. One of them was the novel Alarm! in the F.B.I. Series. The tagline is: "Famous eyewitness accounts of the battle of the world's most powerful police organization against crime."
