The Hidden Dr. Salvador would be camping there along with 2 ganados.Throw the HG at them at a specific angle so that all 3 get taken out. The Dr. would get up and start charging towards you. Getting Devil May Cry 1 World Record on May 1!! coolkarmact 2024-05-08 | Perhaps the first time ever someone got Devil "May" Cry "1" World Record on May 1 lmao.An absolute bonkers thing happened last week. I decided to run DMC1 casually on May 1 for "auspicious reasons" and in my 2nd run happened to get the In-Game Time World Record. That too with old strats! And with keyboard!!!!But as usual some stupid thing ALWAYS happens with this game. My game froze at a few occasions and ate my inputs at others. Due to this the overall RTA and LRT(current Leaderboard Timing Method) is not better than my PB which is currently 2nd place on leaderboard.But anyways, this was perhaps the fastest anyone (or atleast I have)has beaten the IGT WR after returning to game from a long break. Finally got time to optimize my previous record which was a 36:10 LRT and 40:58 RTA. After 6 hours of grinding, finally optimized the orb route to reduce the Phantom kills and remove the additional Holy Water pickups. This perhaps will be the most optimal orb route for getting the fastest times, with a few changes here and there, like buying Vortex 1 earlier in M3. I didn't do that, since Vortex on keyboard is not very optimal when the angles aren't conducive.Even though my run is fast, there is still around 20-30 seconds of time save still possible with better RNG and vortex movement.
