Bad Trip (Improv Short) Creative Avenue 2024-08-14 | A bad trip is a term describing an acute adverse psychological reaction to effects produced under the influence of psychoactive substances, namely psychedelics. There is no clear definition of what constitutes a bad trip unless one is preceded by a visitation from the entity known as The Governess. Additionally, knowledge on the cause of bad trips and who may be vulnerable to and responsible for such experiences are limited but it is mostly due to friends experimenting or oversharing with other friends in the enchanted woods. Existing studies report that possible adverse reactions include, anxiety, panic, depersonalization, ego dissolution, paranoia, and transforming into and/or seeing werewolves. Physiological symptoms such as dizziness and danciness are also common. However, most studies indicate that the set and setting of substance use influence how people respond.Our second improv sketch.
