THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 500 SUBSCRIBERS!
This is honestly very surreal that I have gotten my channel this far. I know that I am certainly not the most timely or consistent creator but you still are wanting to watch my stuff and that means the world to me.
This short story is dedicated to you dear subscriber! At the time a filmed which was a few weeks back there were about 514 I believe but I have even seen some new faces since then so thank you!

DISCLAIMER:
I have only done light research on tarot cards and I am by no means an expert in any sense of what tarot readings are actually like so feel free to take my approach with a grain of salt with my light research.
Also there is one character that I misgender at one point in the story, I made sure to correct it in the final. You may notice the audio is a bit off on it but I did my best with what I had! I'm trying to still practice using they/them pronouns when requested so thank you for your patience.

Instead of making a goal like a word count I have made very specific goals about my writing projects and each day I have a new writing prompt. Here are my goals:
Day One: Write more scenes and experiences about the best friend who dies at the start of the book ✅
Day Two: Write the ultimate betrayal scene ✅
Day Three: Map out the official power structure of a totalitarian government from my story ✅
Day Four: Go more in depth with your side characters. Make them a Save The Cat Beat Sheet with their want vs. needs 🟡
Day Five: Download the official book cover for Sleepless Wonder 🟡
Day Six: Go more in depth with your villains - what is their want vs. need, are they redeemable or not? 🟡
Day Seven: Outline the pre-evolution of the fall of the society in your story
Day Eight: Figure out how IK fits in the story - perhaps make a connection
with S knowing things about rodeos in order to defeat him
Day Nine: Figure out what my trilogies main character want vs. need is. Perhaps they are different each book and there is an overarching one throughout the series
Day Ten: Write missing scene where A talks to both R and L about their prospective jobs
Day Eleven: Write a chronological order synopsis for Escape the Safehouse with character back story
Day Twelve: Figure out the cellar system that St uses when the small camp pits are invaded
Happy holidays, merry christmas, and happy writing everyone!

November has been a hard month to keep up motivation wise so I am going to try and power through here! Today I will be working on finishing my first short story for my fantasy short story anthology collection and starting in on outlining and drafting the system for my sci-fi apocalyptic trilogy. In the middle of sprints I would love to talk to you guys in chat a little more that is my favorite part is interacting with you guys :)
No really how's it going because it is rough out here. Here we talk about all things writing, experience all things reading, and compare all things with films crafted from books.
It has been a minute since I have done a vlog of any sort so I appreciate your patience with my awkward self.

Autumn Ashleigh has had her channel for several years and often shares writing vlogs on her new projects as well as reading reviews. I will make sure to plug in any upcoming announcement she has when we chat!
As far as my updates go I am in the middle of writing a short story anthology that will come out in increments at the beginning of 2025! I also have a newsletter set to start in 2025 through my author website.
I've been wanting to get into writing sprints for a while but often feel nervous doing them on my own. But I will strive to get over my fear in hopes of connecting more with you guys as writers and readers a like :)
Today's theme is titled "new beginnings" since I will be starting a first draft of my first coming-of-age romance novel! I look forward to you stopping by and chatting as we work together to write
They cannot claim to have the rights of "we are the company that issues the challenge to write a first draft in one month" and I am planning on taking full advantage of that. I am not sure what the future holds for writing challenges from here on out, but I hope this will make people think and re-evaluate how we should implement AI without hurting artists.
I'm going to be attempting to vlog each day of July for Camp NanoWriMo this year. This vlog is covering days 4-7. The goals are:
1. Get my writing streak to over 30 days/ write everyday this month
2. Write and edit 1K words a day
I've got two WIPs that I am going to be taking through their second and third drafts this month and I am very excited to work on them.

I'm going to be attempting to vlog each day of July for Camp NanoWriMo this year. The goals are:
1. Get my writing streak to over 30 days/ write everyday this month
2. Write and edit 1K words a day
I've got two WIPs that I am going to be taking through their second and third drafts this month and I am very excited to work on them.

For this bi-weekly check-in I am going to be sharing with you how I keep track of my word count as well as the comparative progress I have made since last year! As I was editing this video I realized that throughout a lot of last year I did write... but I was horrible about recording word count. So I wrote a lot more we will just never know how much :')

Time to look through my bookshelf and see what I an donate this year! I didn't read too many books this year so my list is quite short but wanted to do this to kick start my next video of going through all my TBRs by excluding books I knew I for sure wasn't going to read :) No Timestamps this time because the video is very short!

Hey y'all how's it going and welcome to my the first of the Halloweek reads! My expectations were pretty low for this movie and with that being said I full heartedly knew that it would be better than the book. I was right about one thing it was A MILLION TIMES BETTER than the book and I was also wrong. This movie exceeded all my expectations.
I would super appreciate some more ideas on books to read and then watching their subsequential movie and comparing the two. To insert your ideas please put in your suggestion in my google form https://forms.gle/9vJwgmkiBYNNDpw9A

Throughout October I am going to be buckling down for an early version of NanoWriMo so I will not be coming out with new material but I decided to pre-record a Halloween themed reading challenge where I read spooky stories and then back-to-back watch the movie their book was based on.
Now this time around I didn't have time to read the full book but I fully intend to! However, this was definitely a book that I felt was much deeper than what is described I think so far it is one of my favorite reads!

A long time ago I watched the movie Coraline and it truly terrified me but as time went on I realized there were so many differences between the book and the movie from what I heard from other people. So I decided to give it a shot - and I am hoping that the graphic novel will suffice.

This book was such a fun read, took me a moment to get used to the style since it is targeted more for young teens but overall a fun cozy read and I am beyond excited to watch the movie.

And we are starting off strong with Carrie by Stephen King. I will apologize in advance this video was much longer than it was ever supposed to be because I have a lot of thoughts... good and bad. I may make some people upset since I know this book is well-loved. But if you don't want to spend your whole time watching me rant you can also check out my review on Good Reads

I got this book a long time ago at a used bookstore and after it sitting on my shelf for a year decided to take a look. Unfortunately, this book didn't resonate with me the way that I hoped it would. Without giving too much away I felt it was pandering, unrealistic, and full of toxic positivity. I am one of the few on Goodreads that marked it at a 1 out of 5 stars but you are more than welcome to read this book! Just listen to yourself when reading books like this and know that in the end it is just a book.

I have a real issue with perfectionism in writing which is probably why I have not been successful in completing anything other than a first draft for much of my work. I think the mindfulness of this is a step in the right direction to get over this hurdle.
Trying to keep telling myself that the first draft is just me telling myself the story. So we will start there.
