ITB Williams Renault 5 Vs Primera Supertouring rep - Donington Park Jamie Rigby 2023-11-13 | Fun session from Donington Park last week, both of our tyres weren't ideal - P10 on Accelera 651s, R5 on old R888s, but that didn't stop us having a good laugh. I would love to jump to A052s i recon the car would be around a second per lap quicker but when we're not pushing for times it's hard to justify the £900 for a set! LSD incoming for the R5 over winter that'll transform it no end as it really does struggle putting the power down out the corners with 195bhp/165lbs ft on little 185 tyres!R5 is 230bhp/tonne, Primera's 150bhp/tonne, the engines really strong for a stock 160bhp SR20, when/if it fails that's when it'll be going honda power most probably haha, 'tis such an underrated chassis!*apologies for the portrait mode in the primera, it was acting as a back up camera and my main camera the battery died god dam! The only session I got on camera in the dry before my CL RC5+ Pads disintegrated and decided they didn't want to stay on the backing plates any longer, luckily I had my Spare DS2500s with me, threw them in, and away I went for afew more on-it sessions!
