FLOAT | OC MAP | PART 20 | EYE STRAIN Pale Blank 2019-09-25 | If you like my work please consider supporting me on Patreon!patreon.com/paleblankWARNING: EYE STRAINSoo I've been wanting to do a MAP part with my OC Pale but he's kinda hard for me to draw so I kinda got inspired to draw human Pale and I'm so happy with the results! I usually don't draw humans cuz they're also hard but I need to practice. I wanted to do this part a bit different to what I usually do. Instead on focusing on the character I tried focusing on objects that relate to Pale and it ended up being a nice aesthetic for him. As you can see I did a lot of editing here but also threw in some animations so everything wasn't static. So I'm pretty happy with this ^-^ can't believe I drew humans that look decent! And also using Pale my baby. The skulls were actually the easiest part, as I draw a lot of them. I used this part to was experimenting with and improve a lot of my weaker skills.This part story: So idk how much of Pale's story I want to reveal yet but basically here we have Pale getting into trouble, beating up people. It's part of his job actually. But here he messed with the wrong people and got beat up too as you can see he's bleeding as well.Easter Eggs:You can try to find then yourself but I'll list them herePale's bat has a Hello Kitty face on the base. It also has a band-aid and bandages (he takes care of his weapons such a pure boy)There's a small hidden skull that appears for one frameOof wait that's all I remember rnGoofs:The third repeat has a black bg cuz I couldn't decide which one I liked best. It was intentional but still mentioning here.Very minor but the first time Pale appears you can see a line on his forehead for a frame or twoSpeaking of background the dark purple background goes almost completely off screen and you can see black underneath when there's a big warpy transition. This was soooo upsetting cuz I wanted the background to stay the same color throughout the video but couldn't fix it or the life of me.For a couple frames I think Pale's body is like chopped in half, like you can see black under on the edge of the screen. That was due to the warp effect I used and again couldn't fix it for the life of me.A huge goof is the first skull you see but it somehow ended up having a nice effect. The are white borders you can see almost like a square framing the skull. You can see this when it zooms out. These lines are leftovers from the fill layer I used to fill the skull. It filled the whole canvas so when I scaled the skull down there were white borders. All Bets Are Off | OC PMV | Part 11 Pale Blank 2019-09-23 | So I wanted to try my hand at tweening again. It's not my favorite and some times I even think it takes more work than frame by frame in some cases. But it was good practice for sure. Lol I say that and I did this in like 2 days. Getting the pallet to look good on Mimo was a challenge for sure I wonder how this would look if I was using his normal colors hmm. for this MAP (closed) youtube.com/watch?v=FyY1c-VevUAI like big descriptions here we goI really liked the unused scene but I just couldn't fit it anywhere in this composition because there wasn't enough time to build up for that scene, otherwise things would look a bit rushed. I was planning on taking out the normal Mimo scenes altogether and have this be just about his new form. But I also wanted to have a little story rather than just Mymo(possessed Mimo) destroying stuff. There was actually another unused scene with Mymo clawing someone but it looked ugly so I took it out and idk I wanted this to be more subtle instead of just flat out showing Mymo killing stuff.Mimo's story: So as some of you may know Mimo is a Sphynx kitten who gets infected by a parasite that controls him when he sleeps and uses him to do terrible things. But he is, for the most part, unaware of all of it. I don't wanna reveal how he was infected yet though. He wakes up with scratches or wounds sometimes but wouldn't think much of it, (or think that is just some nightmare.)until things started to get messier. So the parasite can manifest different forms called stages (cuz mime theme) depending on Mimo's emotions. The parasite amplifies Mimo's emotions when it controls him but uses said emotions in a deranged way. (If Mimo wants to play, then Mymo also wants to play but in an evil way)This MAP part story: This is kinda far into the story but the gist of it is that Mimo is being chained up to be detained and to somehow remove the parasite but all efforts go in vain cuz Mymo manages to break free and kills everyone. Mimo then wakes up in shock and flees (not pictured) after seeing all the bodies. The dices used in the scenes refer to a special power Mymo has(depending on the dice roll he gains new abilities 1-6 1-1 and 6-6 are the strongest rolls), coincidentaly I also thought it fit well with bets and saying all the bets are off.Question: why does possessed Mimo has hair? He didn't on the meme video.It's cuz Mimo has different stages, that video was an earlier stage as you can tell Mimo doesn't change much. The more possessed he is the more he will look like the true form of the parasite. Mymo is also huge here as well.Here are some goofs that are in this part that I noticed later:I know the dices are incorrect in their numbering that was done on purpose.The dice colors change depending on the scene. This was because in some scenes they just looked better with that color. Still putting it here cuz it is a continuity error.Mimo's ears go down when he wakes up and looks to the side but are perked up again on the very next scene. Totally my bad you can see I did that mistake all throughout the WIPs oof. x(Mimo's irises come out of his eyes for a couple frames. His scar was also missing on that frame. I know the background cats barely move yeh they just wiggle wiggle wiggleBut the main focus is Firestar and Scourge soLast shot shows Scourge's eyes widening (and fade to white) to prepare for the next part which is a flashbackI animated some blood as well for that shot but I wasn't sure if it'd fit the extreme close-up... ok actually I really just wanted to put blood there but like I made the blood splatters into symbols cuz they had a lot of frames so it was easy to manage but when I was exporting that from Flash to Vegas they wouldn't animate! Ugh it's fine I guess there's enough blood on the battlefield already. Btw the dead cats are Whitestorm and Darkstripe. I decided to put them on Scourge's bit cuz Bloodclan. Also I was going to have Tigerstar dead there too but then I re-read this part and the battle takes place 3 days after Scourge kills him. But like what happened to his corpse?
