Simple Indirect the entire cook for these 2”+ thick cut pork chops. Seasoned with Grillaholics SPG Twisted Butter.
• Started with two, 2” thick pork chops from our local butcher, they were about 24 oz each and a nice thick pork steak about 2 pounds.
• Seasoned them with Grillaholics SPG Twisted, butter flavor.
• Set up the Slow ‘N Sear Kettle with the Slow N Sear insert and started the cook when the temp was about 350 up to 400.
• Once they got close to 100 degrees, I flipped them to promote even cooking.
• Cooked them indirect the entire time until they reached about 145 degrees and pulled them to rest.
Summary: The Slow N Sear Kettle does a great job on cooking nice thick cuts of meat. These pork chops turned out great even without searing, just good radiant heat the whole cook. The Grillaholics SPG Twisted added a nice touch to these pork chops.
