The game is an RPG that takes place during Stardust Crusaders in a what-if scenario where a custom character joins the crusaders on their journey to Egypt in order to kill DIO. The player is given 1 of 18 different Stands by a mysterious benefactor known only as "Steel", based on answers to a personality quiz given at the beginning of the game from Muhammad Avdol.The player is then given the ability to name themselves, their nickname, and their catchphrase. The character leaves home and goes to school. During this point of the game, the player can fight enemies placed throughout the map in a turn based battle where they could level up and get stronger. Every map contains secrets containing references to other parts of JoJo. Interacting with the crusaders increases a "Friend Point" value. The game follows the source material but allows the player to make choices that would diverge the story's events.There are many endings that can be obtained in the game, with some relying on the player's actions during the story like the amount of Friend Points the player has with the crusaders and their Stand. So, what is this project all about?"I was looking for more interesting tools for music creation when I found out about MuseNet, a neural network (a learning AI) that's not only a great tool for composers, but also an interesting experiment that basically is using patterns learning how to create (or more like: continue) music in specific style with the given intructions. You don't need anything specific but a few notes included, a few selections and following some guidelines and tips/tricks included. Of course, it is far from perfect and there are some interesting discoveries (aside from the obvious things).What I found out (aside from the usual information) is:1.) The more control you have over it, the more predictable the result is - but that not always results in a good quality.2.) Unpredictable behavior is defined by less details given, but style still has an influence over it3.) "Splicing" is more than possible, as you have more than enough tools to actually use it as a "raw" file rather than just downloading it as an MP3 and calling it a day.4.) Last, but not least: the AI doesn't necessarily recognize patterns in a traditional way. What I mean is that repeat is usually frequent, and it can recognize the tempo & melody but does not necessarily find the actual "meaning" behind any of this. Sometimes it can result in off-putting tempo, or totally different melodies all of the sudden.I still hope you'll enjoy this short experiment.
