Remove damaged lace2. Unstitch velcro thingy and save it with the lace tightener3. Start lacing your boots. I bought new lace in Fishing/Hunting store. Used for harpoon hunting :D It is 1mm thick ( original lace was 2mm) And it is easier to fit. Works as good as original. 4. Fit your lace tightener with manicure scissors or pincette. It took me a while to squeeze through.5.
