Evil Dead: Regeneration is an action hack-and-slash video game developed by Cranky Pants Games and published by THQ in 2005. The story takes place shortly after Evil Dead 2, with Ash now confined to a mental asylum instead of being sucked into a portal. Meanwhile, the Necronomicon has fallen into the hands of Dr. Reinhard, unleashing a series of catastrophic events that only Ash can stop.
NoirStation Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - An awesome game that still holds up, in my opinion, and a real treat for Evil Dead fans. There are some minor criticisms, such as the game being locked at 30 FPS and occasional bugs. Sometimes the auto-aim felt off due to PC controls, so for that reason, I would probably recommend the console version over the PC port. Overall, it’s a fun, chaotic hack-and-slash experience that captures the spirit of the movies perfectly.
