These are my first patches with Intellijel Rainmaker. I'm taking it very easy for now, focusing on the Delay section only and trying to understand each edit function.
The chain is Rings - Qpas - Rainmaker - Mimeophon - BigSky. With sporadic additions of Plaits into Clouds and Plonk.
Mimeophon and BigSky are quite subtle to leave space to Rainmaker.
I found that the easiest way is to start with a few taps only, setting the groove and pitch to taste and then randomizing selected parameters (like just the groove or just the filters) to find new ideas and from there, editing once again the parameters that were changed too drastically by the randomization.
Sometimes I hear digital clicks which I think are caused by the small size and number of the grains. Not completely sure about it yet, I should probably read the manual to have a better idea. I'm curious to listen to your opinion and experience about this.
